I like Alex as I think everyone does, but I genuinely don't see him as a football person any more. I can't quite explain it, but Alex Smith still had something about him that made him "gaffer" when he needed to step into a dressing room. He had the sort of growl, the glare, that could still intimidate even if most folk didn't see that side of him.
I just don't think Totts has that now. He's been a salesman for too long.
And a Rangurs sympathyser.

Anyone know anything about the supposed meeting between fans groups with MC tonight? Apparently at the inchyra, seen a few things about it on twitter/fb
Is that the same one as the MSG meeting the Consortium?

Why are Raith known as the Wee Team?

0.0 and Mckinnon will be delighted having played the 2 top teams and 'not lost.

Gomis goal was a belter for sure but McMillan goal shouldnt be overlooked the way he angled the header. Looks like hel get goals.
Confidence must be up and we must go for the jugular next week and beyond.

Caldwell sacked. To think we had some buffoons in our support that wanted him as our manager. Maybe they could get McMenamin. Career highlight beating us in the cup. Back in your box boys.

Mark Kerr probably wouldn't come back after the abuse he took from some 'fans' . Wage thief allegedly.

5 games in and he's managed to lose the majority of fans, some going that. He's partly extremely cautious but partly just inept. He doesn't know how to setup to play fast attacking football. There's no plan B, in fact there's hardly a plan A.

Huffed and puffed a bit yesterday although we were the only team trying to win it. We'll get more games like this as teams will be in our faces and try and frustrate. A wins a win as they say and 3 games in top of the league 8 for 1 against can't be sniffed at. Think Buchanan has hardly put a foot wrong since signing, I like Toshney too and good to see strikers scoring. 2nd goal shows that hard work in training pays off.

Diddy cup or no it was a run out our fringe players and new signings badly needed.
Buchanan was very commanding, think were going to get the best him at the right time. Gomis was good and Longridge industrious, hel do a job and his fitness levels were good.
Miller toiled imo maybe fitness, McShane disappointed again.
Moore huffed and puffed.
Celtic Colts could probably hold tgeir own in the Championship.

I seen him at Roughmute dump, if these two posts don't confirm it, I don't know what will.
Most of Hartleys signings ended up there.

Would expect Mckinnon to go for a tall target man type he seems to like that.Brian Graham he had at Raith,Mikkelson at Dundee Utd. Fits with McKinnons style of play, which ironically may work in this league.

When Margaret Lang was asked about the racist slur at the AGM she stated she couldn't comment further as just that day they were informed that ' police investigations were continuing' . That was either a monumental coincidence or a downright lie. I know what I believe. Lets not let them forget this.

Have heard from various trustworthy sources that club have been actively phoning round trying to get EGM cancelled prior to the letter today. Despicable, desperate cowards.

Our signings so far have been a bit above my expectations. At league 1 level what can we really expect? I think this is the time to concentrate on the job ahead of us this year, to win the league and worry about the next couple of years later. Signing steady known faces who have played decently at higher levels is fine by me after signing any random unproven player the past couple of years and hoping for the best.
Throw in a couple of on-the-rise young players and I think we'll end up with a better team than the past two years in the championship.
Wouldn't be difficult mind you but McKinnons not a risk taker. For this season a bit of a pragmatic approach should do.
We do need 3/4 youthful flair players who can change a game though.

Didn't realise he was only 22. Seems to have been around for years. What's his best position?

Pretty sure Paton was on a bonus to pass every ball up in the air. Cared, with effort but no great loss at all. If it releases a wage to get more creativity in good stuff. Him and McShane were a worry for a midfield duo.

Todorov deserve a a start, linked up well with Rudden. DKD out is a big blow, with two sitting midfielders there is a huge gap between mid to front and little creativity. Must use the wings if we have a target man. Would like to see Robson in he can deliver crosses. Will be a tight, nervy game.

To think some folks actually fancied Caldwell as our manager. Watched that tonight, Cardle, Harkins especially and Anderson are done.

Not exactly inspiring but job done. Wasn't convincing until the two bits of quality sealed it. We can beat teams of this nature, it's the teams in the top 4 we struggle against. Six points from 21 against these isnt league winning form.Thats what needs to change to win this league.
