Think the new Director Of Football should be chosen from some of the contributors to the COYB facebook page, plenty experts there.

The Gow thing was a monumental balls up from the word go. For all the good Deans and co. have done this was huge own goal that, after the agm knifedge vote could have put the future of the club at risk. Hopefully now advertise the job properly and find someone with the right credentials.

Whoever wins the league will only lose 4 or 5 games maximum. If Partick lose on Saturday thats 3 done already, we really should be going all out to win this, with no fans home games don't have the same advantage as normal.

Good performance all round we certainly needed that. Well deserved win. Defence looked more of a unit for 80 minutes a fitter looking Alston made a difference and Francis up front has a football brain. Morrison for me is a quality act, he'll win us games with creativity and assists have to be lucky and keep him fit.
Go for the jugular next week v Plastic Whistle, win and even at this stage they won't catch us. Test of M n Ms approach. Away games without fans means home advantage means less. Let's do it.

Survival of the fittest. We've been shafted by too many clubs too many times. If one or some of those clubs go down the tubes, then offer the patronising sympathies whilst laughing up our sleeve and move on. Its about time we learned how to survive in Scottish football.

We'd better get to the top of the league in due course as I can't see the season getting through the winter without football being suspended due to the impending expected hike in Corona virus. Could be in exactly the same position as last year.
Unless they change the rules on that, mind who's running the show.

Seems like a decent signing on paper, however as we've seen with Alston and a few others fitness after a long layoff is an issue and in a shortened season will have an impact. Same for all clubs though as Partick are having their issues with that too.

I expect M n M to change the midfield again,to try and get some drive and positivity going forward. Much made of dodgy defence but we also need a decent 90 minutes from Dowds and Francis not just flashes here and there. Eh, so basically all areas of the pitch.

I'd give M n M the benefit of the doubt and say it was injuries that forced them to play Miller and Gomis together. That said, they shouldn't start together again if at all possible. As mentioned, we needed youth, pace and drive in the middle of the park and here we are 2 games in still requiring it.

Best bit about that yesterday was McCrackens interview, but as we know words mean feck all.

On a slightly different note, interesting article that a number of clubs have done a U turn, and just a reminder how important points on board will be if the season is called early. With only 27 games to play, it’s imperative we get off to a flyer.
Of course. But don't rule out them changing the rules.

Make no mistake, this was a monumental moment in our clubs future. A watershed. Shouldn't ever be forgotten the difference the small shareholders made and going forward shows how fans can make a difference. Nor should it be forgotten who voted against this. Spiteful, selfish ex bod members. Dont ever let them forget it either.

Small shareholders praised for getting this over the line..and rightly do.

The utter audacity of Lang, Miller, Thompson and in the door 5 minutes Gow makes my blood boil. Whatever the outcome, they should be hounded out the town ,never mind the club.

Forfar at home next week whilst Partick play Airdrie. Good chance to get some points on the board early.
Partick have Airdrie, Cove and us in next 3 games pressure on them already.

We were dreadful. Montrose must feel aggrieved at losing that. As usual lack of energy in middle of park. G Miller was awful. We brought on 3 subs with combined age of 105 which bizarrely won us the game. We can't afford many performances like that. Important we won though, as Partick lost. Few players not up to speed fitness wise yet, Alston and Todd, with Connolly to come back should hopefully make a difference.

Il be delighted if we signed Nicky Wire from the Manic Street Preachers as the dominant centre half. Steaming in at the back post to bullet a header home with feather boa trailing in his wake. Make it happen Mr Rawlins.

Only played for 20 mins in first half where we looked decent. Crosses into our box we toiled with all night and they were worthy winners after 2nd half performance. Have to put it in perspective though.
As a supporter who has went to games for years, watching on tv is simply horrendous. How anyone can call themselves a fan or supporter by watching on the box is beyond me. They are simply results followers. Football needs fans in stadiums.

Nice that we head into the game on Saturday, live on Free Sports at 17.30, 3 points to the good.
Its on Premier Sports 1 which you need to subscribe to and pay for according to this. Flicking through the channels it looks like Hearts v ICT is on the free channel, could be wrong though.

Any idea who scored the 3 goals?

Heard he's not signing for Hearts as ( surprise surprise) they have concerns over his fitness. As I posted earlier its a huge gamble imo due to his previous injuries. Had 3 years of injury troubles at Hull. That doesn't sort itself overnight. We could sign Stephen King, its near enough. Saying that weve had enough misery recently.

Hopefully this is a stupid fuckin question but, how has Kingsley shown up in pre-season? It's hard to tell from the limited highlights but it's worth noting that we've lost a lot of goals in these games.
Unlike a lot of others, I feel that Dixon's best position is LB so I'm wondering if Kingsley's been tried at CB or has it always been a case of Dixon moving inside when SK's came on?
He may not be the player that left us due to injury.
'He may not be the player that left us due to injury. '
The very reason he's training with us and not been signed at a much higher level says he's far from being fully fit. A big gamble imo. We don't need nostalgia signings. Time will tell but this could prove to be a mistake.
