It wasn't in the highlights because the system for clipping isnt full-proof, sometimes there's clips that aren't matched with the audio recording on the main track. I normally don't give it any thought because usually I test clip outside of the main recording to check it's working. This system underpins the midnight highlight production so that's the disadvantage of producing something quickly. And I had Alan Trouten telling me it was a good tackle. Famed for a good tackle that man.

l didn't clip this one but since I've seen it discussed - you can have a second look at the tackle. For me if its a foul it's DOGSO - not sure how the ref justifies a yellow. Certainly he hits Sammon before the ball.

To be fair because I have the camera strapped to the roof - there's no tidy-up at the end of games while the Ferguson era had me packing for half an hour after every game. I can grab the camera off the roof minutes after the game and capture the interviews.

I've also got a post match interview for tonight - Rice is true to form very positive, encouraging, and not a word to say wrong about the players. Just enjoyed the football like the rest of us.

This ^^ very much. But having done everything I know why people aren't determined to come up with something better. You need to be competent across a good number of fields to bring something together and probably more than one person to do it. Is that financially viable for anyone? Probably not. There are certainly days I question why I am doing it.

Contrary to popular belief they're not bad guys who wanted to run the club into the ground. To me, Barry and Bob were always professional but it certainly wasn't working on the park. You can be honest and say they were never popular from the beginning and that definitely contributed to the standoff between fans and management. Every time we get a new manager I half expect the next Paulo Di Canio, some kind of exceptionalist who is always emotionally charged and has everyone on tenterhooks. I'm always relieved when it's pleasant and professional.

Just because the BBC say it doesn't mean it is wrong. Easier to work with people if they aren't a raging lunatic and the early signs are good.

There's a honking culture in Scottish football for this. When Ross County in the Premiership offered to take a volunteer videographer on you know the system absolutely cracked and needs to change. I get a wage but there's the reality that needs to be addressed is that it'll never allow me to buy a house. If a community club is just starting up though I'd imagine it's a training will be offered gig - to get up and running you'll need qualified coaches to start and then it'll sustain itself

I'm hoping for Kanye West vs Kim Kardashian. What will actually be said will be less exciting that Keeping up with the Kardashians though.

It's only a couple quid extra for embroidery but I suppose it does eat into the margins. I suspect the biggest advantage is the speed at which you can heat transfer the badges on your blanks for late signings.
