  1. Yes, because they have to sell their academy players early in order to bring in money since they only get small gates.
  2. Read this article mate, it will explain everything, the Accies have a phenomenal academy/ youth programme, the envy of many. It brings them in great money. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/10899448/hamilton-one-forsyth-brighton-norwich-leeds-mccarthy-mcarthur/
  3. 5 points clear with a game in hand. Santa, please don't let Edinburgh FC go bust, OK?
  4. Haven't a clue mate. 1 down, 2 up maybe? No relegation from League 2 and the Highland champions play the Lowland champions for a place in league 2 to keep it at 10 teams?
  5. And when have Falkirk FC ever been treated fairly in Scottish Football Shagger? If a team is kicked out of a league part way through a season (or folds through lack of players/going bust), then all of their results prior to their demise are usually annulled (expunged from records and points gained by their opponents removed) and remaining scheduled matches cancelled If Edinburgh go tits up we'll lose 3 points and Hamilton will only lose 1.
  6. Are you sure? I never knew tractors could go that fast. 1 hr 38 min (95.8 mi) via M74 and A74(M)
  7. When I lived down in Englandshire and came up to watch the Bairns I always seemed to attend more away games than home games, simply because they were easier to get to: Kilmarnock, Hamilton, Motherwell, Thistle, Clyde, Airdrie/Clydebank, Livingston, Hibs, Hearts and the Arse Cheeks were all nearer than Brockville/TFS. Keep your fingers crossed that we go up this season along with Hamilton and some clubs don't get relegated and you could have quite a few away games on your "doorstep" - Ayr, Morten, Thistle, Queen's Park, Airdrie United and Hamilton (as long as they don't play silly buggers again and have you going to Falkirk for your ticket first).
  8. Yeah, brilliant scene. It's on YouTube but the quality is shit.
  9. Long is definitely an upgrade on Hogarth in my opinion but neither of them fill me with confidence. While we are an attacking team and therefore our keeper isn't under so much pressure I would still love to see another goalie coming in during the window. Not a youngster, an old head. Don't know if it was on this thread or the Falkirk thread but somebody mentioned "Gloves" McGovern. He would be great.
  10. Posted on the match thread as well for the Accies fans to see.
  11. To all our Accies friends, thought that you might like to enjoy watching this again.
  12. I'm with you on this, none of the holier than thou "two wrongs don't make a right" shite. Don't get mad, get even.
  13. The Airdrie who last season were averaging 800 or so supporters at home were going to bring 2,000 through to Hamilton?
  14. I should effin well think so. I reckon this could add another 300-400 Bairns fans on to the gate, we might even hit the 2,000 mark. COYB.
  15. Cracking couple of results today. Level on points with the Accies with a game in hand. They'll have to come at us next Saturday instead of sitting in and being content with the draw.
  16. Would the club be allowed to hold tickets on the fans' behalf and then distribute them at NDP? Show proof of ID and purchase and get your ticket? Or is there some rule against that?
  17. How so? None of them are based in the Borders Region.
