Based on the first 12 minutes of this game it really makes you wonder how the hell the steelers went 10-0.

I know it’s not a thing here in Scotland but I think he would do great at a club where the Director of Football/Recruitment team are the ones bringing the players into the club.

With a squad that he inherited. He made the players at the club much better, no doubt about that but as soon as he brought in his own players it was a complete disaster.

You are correct and he brought in utter shite such as Nat Wedderburn and Dani Lopez, who actually tripped up over the ball in one of his trial games.

You missed the mark with his time at Caley. He inherited a very good team and made them better while completely changing the style of football. When the squad broke up after the cup final win he did a terrible job of the recruitment. Don’t get me wrong he had us as a comfortable mid-table team when he left, which we would all be delighted at now, but he gave us some great short term success which was never going to be sustained.

I’m also a fan of Yogi as he is a genuinely brilliant coach but this is a terrible appointment. He is going to spend the rest of this season getting the players used to his style of football rather than getting the results they need.

Aye, I would go with that. Think they got a bit too ahead of themselves after the first half but Alloa came out and were much better and when you have Brad McKay and Devine in defence it’s a disaster waiting to happen.

I was meaning the Devine foul for the free kick. He let the ball bounce and then the attacker was goal side. School boy stuff. It was a good free kick.

That’s some Christmas gift we have given to Alloa. Stupid defensive mistakes for both goals. As said I can’t think of any decent goal scoring chances that Alloa had created.

Brad tried he best there giving a free kick away right on the edge of the box. Alloa players with big shouts for a penalty (handball?). Couldn’t see anything from the camera so no idea if it should have been or not.

I imagine the SFA/SPFL haven’t figured that out yet so 5th has to play in the group stages to keep the numbers right.

1-0 half time. Brad McKay with the goal. Very comfortable half for us. MacGregor came close from range and Sutherland made the keeper make a decent save. Pretty solid at the back too with Alloa only getting shots off from distance. I missed the first 10-15 mins so I may have missed something other than the goal.

I always like to see the clubs that I’ve managed in the past do well but it’s also great seeing them being shit to show just how good a job you did with them.

That video can’t be right. Steve fucking Lovell scored every bloody goal for Aberdeen against us during that period where we could never get a result against you. And yes I’m still bitter.
