Lazio offering a new contract to De Vrij, buyout seems to be around 30 million euro, which in the grand scheme of things isn't a great deal of money in today's market. Balde reportedly turned down a chance of a move to Everton as well.

Has anyone stayed in Haarlem? Me and a friend are going over next month for a couple days and thought about staying here evening. Looks a nice little town, only 15 minutes from Amsterdam.

Had an ex who used to ring me everyday when I finished work. Packed train heading out of London, last thing you want to do is have a phone call about absolutely nothing with loads of folk about. -

Very doubtful, even if it was. Possibly a 30 minute rating, something like that. As the above mentions, the expoxy has a lot to do with it. -

Doing a portion of the South Downs way tomorrow, start off in Winchester and instead of going all the way down to Eastbourne, will cut off at Hassocks and go home. Not quite sure on the mileage, around 80 or so I think. Have done the full route once, that was last summer and I burnt like f**k. Meant to be nice again tomorrow, so will take a bit more care this time. -
Clearing out the house before moving down South and found an abundance of these bags. Remember the first one I went into was in Inverness oddly. It was near the train station from memory. Got a Sunderland goalkeeper top and a Stoke City shirt, mainly because they were on the sale rail.

Feel your pain on this one, my Mrs in January had car troubles. Wouldn't start, eventually got it going with jump leads. Told her to get a new battery. Obviously she didn't, so a month later when it happened again, I was less than pleased to drive 60 miles to her to get the car started. Once again told her to make sure she got a new battery. Few weeks later, Friday night, just in the door about to have a beer and she rung saying there was a crash in front of her. Told her just to whizz round if no one was there, but being the saint that she is, said she would just wait for the police to make sure everybody was ok. Fifteen minutes later she rings to tell me that everything is ok, but her car won't start. Again I have to plod out, and get her going. When we get home, I made her go to Halfords to get a new battery fitted there and then. Think it was £60 all in. Her response "Oh if I knew it was that cheap, would have done it ages ago". -
Inzaghi signs a new deal with Lazio till 2020 Happy with that, second half of the season played some really good stuff. Looks like there might be a bit of money to spend in the summer as well, few rumours suggesting they will go for Klassen if they lose Biglia.

They were absolutely brilliant, loved giving a wind up.

Thanks a lot, just found that Viktoria Koln are playing Heracles on the Thursday, well according to Soccerway. However Heracles state the Friday on their site. Hopefully is the Thursday game, would fit in really well.

How under the thumb was her husband? David who used to be a gangster also annoyed me a fair amount. Two Muslims were quality, seemed genuinely nice people.

Ended up binge watching the whole thing, all set up. Loads of little bits and pieces that pointed to this. British one was a lot better.

Absolute Gent, thank you very much.

Just having a read about the lad Dalcio, Shame someone like Ross County didn't take a punt, their history is far superior. -
Off to Cologne on Thursday 20th of July, so looking for a fixture that day, anywhere nearby would be ideal. Friday 21st going to be in Amsterdam, and on the Saturday we will be travelling south to Eindhoven, but again hoping to catch a game. Unfortunately not a great deal of information on Pre-Season fixtures in Germany or Holland at the moment. Possibly go and watch Italy V Germany women on the Saturday in Tilburg.

"Forever Young, The Story Of Adrian Doherty" Probably the second best footballing book I have read (first being Paul Lakes autobiography), Oliver Kay tells the story about Adrian Doherty who was part of the Man United class of 92. He was offered a five year deal at seventeen and turned it down. He died the day before his twenty seventh birthday. Really interesting character who was most definitely not your normal footballer.

Go to Rome a fair bit to see Lazio, first and foremost, do not stay anywhere near the central train station (Roma Termini) an absolute hell hole of an area. As others have said, Spanish Steps aren't up to much, never saw the fuss personally. Colosseum is incredible, as is the Vatican. Never done the tour, but meant to be quite interesting. Libri&Bar Pallotta near Ponte Milvio is a lovely little bar which has a library attached, lots of Lazio/Roma history in there. Well worth a trip out if you have time.
