  1. 3-4-1-2 it looks like for County tonight. White coming in for Sims. No sight of Brophy again (we know, you warned us).
  2. No, I do understand the costs that come with maintaining it. My main thought process is that if part-time teams in the lower leagues are able to churn out live streams and excellent highlight, I just find it a bit mortifying (maybe a bit extreme?) that we can’t. For example, the club consistently go on about community links. Perhaps they could strike a link with the UHI to allow volunteers who want work experience in relevant courses in video production to work in a professional environment? I don’t know; it’s just an idea.
  3. Why does it have to be an upper echelon production? Surely providing a low cost, low quality stream and selling it for a standard rate is more optimal than shutting fans away from it completely.
  4. Games are recorded by the club for analysis purposes. How hard can it be to have a broadcast of the match using the same footage? It doesn’t have to be a big pre/post match analysis - just basic match footage that starts at 2:55pm and finishes at the end of the match. Can’t fathom it.
  5. I’m assuming they have different gate receipt rules as they do in Scotland, though. If this rule was in place in Scotland and you had Buckie hosting Celtic, they’d make nowhere near as much as they will by playing at Parkhead.
  6. I’d watch Bonnyrigg v Falkirk if it was on TV, but there’s at least 4 other games in this round that I’d far rather watch.
  7. Give Thistle a 2 goal head start. Let them play their nonsense tunes at Half Time. We know what happens next.
  8. Looking at the makeup of his Morecambe team, he seems to favour a 4-2-3-1. Two inside wingers on the flanks, a 10 and then two destroyers in front of the back 4.
  9. Henderson is. I’d assume Brophy has some sort of knock if he wasn’t in the squad yesterday.
  10. I think Wingers. Henderson is out with a knock at the moment. I expect he’ll be straight in the team as soon as he’s fit. I think Sims starting yesterday probably backs that notion up. I’ll not be slating style of play until end of January. I’ll certainly not be slating the team after keeping our first home clean sheet in 3 months, never looking like conceding, and then suggesting it’s our worst performance for a long time.
  11. If Delboy wants to 0-0 shitfest his way to 10th place, then sign me up!
  12. https://twitter.com/thecountycorner/status/1728418338047439041?s=46&t=ifEZjmsywM4zZ6LsoCdAjw
  13. Isn’t James Brown (supposed to be) serving his 2nd of a two match suspension today?
  14. I’d go with something like: Laidlaw Randall-Baldwin-Leak-Harmon Allardice Loturi-Turner Dhanda Murray-Brophy Some sort of diamond in the middle of the park. Killie often bully us in the middle of the park so getting some extra bodies in there should help us get to grips. Assume they’ll play a 5 so the two grafters up front to hopefully press them into some mistakes, with Dhanda sitting just behind them pulling the strings.
  15. That is one of the most beautiful taps I have ever seen. 3.4%, though, is disappointing.
  16. He wouldn’t have got the Ross County job if it wasn’t going to be. It’s a policy!
  17. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/ross-county/6265795/attacking-flair-is-route-to-ross-county-success-says-manager-derek-adams/ Be interesting to see how many Derek’s Sexy Staggies put past this astro mob at the weekend. My prediction is a fair few.
  18. I remember the qualifying match between the two being utterly farcical a few years ago and sort of assumed that UEFA/FIFA would have made some effort to keep them apart, but I suppose that’s a lot easier in qualifying when you’ve got 80 odd teams than it is at a 24 team tournament.
  19. Apologies if this has already been asked, and I know it was finalised last night, but are Serbia and Albania able to draw each other at the tournament?
  20. It’s Adams for me. Yes, McIntyre gave the club its greatest honour and one of the best days of my life. However, to go 35 matches unbeaten and skoosh a league we were definitely not expected to win is unrivalled. To then go into the next season as stonewall favourites to be second bottom and be within touching distance of a European spot is immense.
  21. Nail on the head. He’s probably our greatest manager since I’ve been watching the club (25-30 years), he’s had 8 years of development in 2 competitive leagues down in England, and he now has a backbone of a recruitment team behind him which was definitely his weakness in his last spell. Onwards and upwards.
