  1. Might be better putting this in the E-Chat Technology forum.
  2. A lot of teams I know are arranging 11 a side friendlies to transition the players, it’s not looking good for 9v9 (a lot of leagues also not changed rules yet regarding 9v9)
  3. Am I right in saying this 'dynamics' crap was already there and all they've done is build a dedicated screen to it and mature it?
  4. They'd also need to find a new auditorium for hosting events etc e.g referee monthly meetings.
  5. I’ve been a customer for a few years now (3+?) and usually with no complaints and the occasional upgrade of internet (I’ve went from 30mbps to 100 myself by paying extra).
  6. What Pepper says, it’s a 4K ready box and allows you to record 6 shows at once now too - Netflix should also run a bit better.
  7. Just got a call from loyalty/cancellations team. My package has been renewed with an upgrade for cheaper - £40 pm for Vivid 200 (previously had 100), full house TV (previously had 130 channels now have 230) and got rid of the TiVo for the new V6 box all for free. Very glad I tried to cancel after they increased my bill *Currently £62 pm* In summary, £20pm saving with free upgrades.
  8. I have to admit I shed a tear when you resigned, I was expecting bad habits to kick in and you to complete all achievements with Montrose - it was going so well! Looking forward to reading more of your journey in 2011
  9. Thanks a lot, I'll give that a try. I done some googling and I've discovered the nowtv box no longer lets you enable developer mode so i'd be even more money either buying a firetv or android box. I'll look into the CEDC mode and let you know how I get on.
  10. So I’ve now deleted bet365 due to an argument with customer service, can anyone recommend any other providers/who’s the best in regards to promotions and interface? I’ve tried paddy power and skybet and to be honest both have either poor interfaces or are just ridiculously slow compared to bet365?
  11. Posting this here I’ve also posted on a few other threads: At the start of the year I decided it was time to start “cutting the cable” and move everything to kodi, my laptop was the first project so I could test addons and create my own “build/onboarding” checklist. Once my laptop was 99% perfect and I was using it more than my TiVo, nowtv and Netflix I decided it was time to install on a raspberry pi and have that in the living room alongside the above so that the mrs could get used to the interface of kodi - this went well after installing some codecs that didn’t come along with the pi. One of the biggest complaints I had from the mrs and any visitors was the lack of remote - who really wants to use a Bluetooth keyboard with touch pad when watching the tv? So I’ve bitten the bullet and I’m planning on swapping the pi for my nowtv box although I’m unsure how to go about this - do I really need to reinstall every add on and fine tune everything yet again? Or is there a more simple way like swapping out a xml file?

  13. If your repo webscrapes a site that's blocked by your ISP or uses the same server a torrent site uses (I've found a few which do this) then it won't work without a VPN.
  14. Not sure if this is another defect that should be reported but sometimes on smaller resolution screens, the ads are blocking key functionality on the forum such as opening user profile.
  15. VPNs by-pass ISP blocks therefore if your add on is hosted on a server your ISP of choice (e.g Virgin Media) has blocked then you'll be unable to use that repo without a VPN - that's why some repo's will work and some won't. Another reason a repo won't work is because the server is temporarily/permanent down or your own firewall is blocking it.
  16. Try using a VPN, if that fails install ZemTV and use a VPN - I've always found that to be the best add-on for sports, not including the paid 'premium' add-ons.
  17. Surely a £100 investment (for a brand new router, not to mention you can buy a second hand one) on a second router is better than upwards of £60 a month for Sky/BT Sports or a sub-standard quality stream due to a crappy 'VPN'? I know which option I'd be trying to sell to someone.
  18. For anyone struggling to use Kodi on a device that doesn't have the ability to install a VPN, e.g. the FireTV stick I suggest reading this article: http://www.techradar.com/how-to/networking/how-to-build-a-dedicated-vpn-router-1300740 This'll allow you to create your own dedicated VPN on your own network which should allow you to start watching putlocker again - the best part about doing it this way is it's reliant on your own network speed and not some crappy VPN provider.
  19. It's amazing - they can provide £1 billion to The DUP - who are against same-sex marriage and abortion but they can't provide for the poor, the NHS or education. Fantastic display of Conservative reputation.
  20. Nothing worse than public transport, all wankers.
