  1. Based on the fact that If my granny had baws then she'd be my grandad! It's not that simple though, and if the Edinburgh team that won at Kelty turns up then this will be a great game. Possibly a draw! 2-2
  2. I never knew Callum Crane had played for Alloa. Who were you playing there, when he scored that goal ? Should be a good, tight game this one! Wasps a good team especially at home.
  3. Alloa Ath. 1-2 FC Edinburgh City Clyde 1-0 Kelty Hertz Dunferm 1-0 Montrose Falkirk 1-0 Peterheid QueenotS 2-1 Airdrie
  4. Superb letter Ally! I'd normally jump in and defend the club if anything bad is said about us... But on this occasion I just can't! The move to Meadowbank has been an absolute shambles! It's rare in football to get Home fans agreeing with away fans about anything, but we all feel the same about this subject. At the end of the day we're all just guys looking for a decent day out on a Saturday, visiting different grounds which should have (at least) average facilities with a decent view of the game. Both sets of fans fail to receive that at Meadowbank sadly!
  5. Fans shouldn't be allowed near the dug-outs anyway. They should have that bit blocked off.
  6. Airdrie 1-1 Falkirk Alloa 1-0 Kelty Clyde 2-0 Peterhead Edinburgh 2-1 Dunfermline Montrose 1-2 QotS
  7. No bother buddy! We're only one game into the season, so anything could still happen. At least you got 11 greenies for your post, so fair play to you! Which Shows there seems to be plenty of clueless posters in this League one forum!
  8. Can I change my first manager to be sacked to the Motherwell boy? Or is it first manager to be sacked after the season kicks off at 12 noon on Saturday?
  9. Now City have signed Emmanuel Johnson from our friends at Hibernian fc. Seems we've got a couple of decent players in today!
  10. 1. Annan Athletic 2. Stenhousemuir 3. Forfar 4. Stirling Albion 5. Bonnyrigg Rose 6. Stranraer 7. Elgin City 8. Dumbarton 9. Albion Rovers 10. East Fife
  11. Pars 2-1 Alloa Falkirk 2 -0 Montrose Kelty 1-1 Edinburgh Peterhead 0 - 3 Airdrie QOS 3-1 Clyde
  12. One week to Kick off, and we know more about the squads. For sure it will be tight at the top! Time to predict. My guesses would be 1. Falkirk or Dunfermline or QOS 2. Dunfermline or QOS or Falkirk 3. QotS maybe Pars or Bairns 4. Montrose 5. Alloa 6. Airdrie 7. Edinburgh City 8. Clyde 9. Kelty Hearts 10. Peterheid
  13. This looks like one of the stands at the "mini Murrayfield" there was talk of us going to. Although I hate these stands with pillars blocking your view, I'd take this one WITHOUT the roof, for a year or two until our permanent stand gets started.
  14. Hibs just played Bonnyrigg on Sunday. I don't understand why Edinburgh and Cowdenbeath wasn't scheduled for Tuesday though?
  15. No it's not! In fact it perfectly sums up Edinburgh Clowncil.
  16. Even for an athletics meeting that rail is a terrible obstruction and totally unnecessary for a structure only 3 rows high! I don't see any daft railings on that photo of the stand at Aberdeen sports Village, so obviously not even necessary at Meadowbank.
  17. I'm No being funny here, and it seems I'm obviously missing something, but what exactly is it that's upsetting the supporters club boys? Yes, I know the team name has changed, but what else is there to moan about? It's more or less the same team / players that got us promoted to league one, plus we're back at Meadowbank. ?
  18. I've said that a few times before on this thread City should have just waited until Meadowbank was properly finished INCLUDING the new stand being ready. There always seemed to be too much rush to get back to Meadowbank from the board directors.
  19. It's 500 or 499 seats in that wee shitey stand so that must be it full.
  20. The fixture list hasn't worked out very well for City, with having the two biggest home games early in August with a 500 limit. Both the Dunfermline and Falkirk games would easy be over a thousand attendance if a full crowd was allowed. We could have done with reversing the fixture list and playing these away until we're better organised for home games.
  21. Sorry Mr Parr! Maybe the Wright guy is a top goalie. I'm simply basing my opinion on one single game at Ainslie Park and I remember he cost you two goals that night, but maybe a one off. Also looks like we'll not get excited about signing Ramsbottom then. Good luck to you's next season.
  22. I vaguely remember a wee fat mouthy clown you's had in goals when we beat you 4-1 at Ainslie Park and was praying it wasn't him we'd signed!!! I just looked it up, and Thankfully, I see Ramsbottom was on the bench that night. Surely he can't be worse?
  23. Sam Ramsbottom, goalkeeper. Your thoughts please gents ?
  24. Good signing that is. In fact that's two very decent signings this week for City. Hopefully we'll NOT be the whipping boys of this league as everyone seems to expect!
