Yeh thats probably the best way to put it. Kids can be c***s, but hey ultimately its character building.

When i was younger my folks had no money and we were essentially homeless for a time, they did what they could for us and we always had decent clean clothes. Instead of Nike trackies etc I got championsport or arrow trainers etc, I liked it but was teased mercilessly by people at school because I didnt have a berghaus meerapeak or cat boots etc, but tbh I was happy and new how much my folls scrimped and saved to give us everything we needed and tbh having two loving parents who werent materialistic arseholes was pretty good. Now the folks who gave me a hard time are mostly jakeballs who spent that much time being p***ks at school they couldnt get a decent job and now can’t spend that on clothes now. Long story short, uniform coats are a good idea, every kid should be equal at school. I still dont spend fortunes on clothes, my most extravagant purchase ever was a hugo boss suit that I used for job interviews etc.

This deal brexit mess is actually fantastic for Scottish independence, for all those who talk about hard borders etc the UK are now committed to be rule takers (and will be in any reasonable brexit scenario) one such condition of them being rule takers with Scotland as equal partners of the EU is that any trade deal could be negotiated on favourable terms for us now and not them. Its patently clear, now is exactly the time for indyref2, now is the time for Scotland -
I tend to fly in and out of Orlando/Tampa so unfortunately don’t get that choice, i’d have to drive to Miami to get a heathrow flight /a380 and tbh its not worth the hassle. Will stick with Virgin for the time being but looking into Lufthansa for sometime in the future!

Anyone else think the tories have just sealed the end of the UK? If the SNP dont use this as the basis for a successful indy campaign then by f**k we are a nation of morons who deserve all we get. -
Lufthansa are advertising quite heavily, they look to have quite a good quality product. Heathrow is bearable if you get free lounge access.
-
It depends what route you go with BA, if its Heathrow fleet with the dreamliner and a380 etc then yes I’d agree the cabin etc is ok, but the Gatwick fleet inc 777’s and 747’s is utterly minging.

Nah, cakes before you go is fair enough. Ive bought things for folks before and they’ve given me money as its been something they’ve asked me to pick up for them. Before I go on holiday I’ll buy my staff a roll or some pakora. In my old office they did a shitey secret santa where everyone bought crap passive aggressive presents for each other, I suggested we spend the £10 each on buying a gift each for kids and donate them to the local foodbank, wasnt well received so I let them do their secret santa and I made a donation instead, I can live without a jokey pen or glow in the dark mug.

Think the best outcome is for baby Adolf to be adopted and renamed Simon Wiesenthal.

Also quite a lot of terrorism cases not all of the evidence is openly reported for obvious reasons. That said the guy quite unapologetically was a member of a terrorist group and that according to the law is wrong. Possessing a copy of the anarchists cookbook is also illegal under terrorism legislation, so that again is wrong. The stuff about the KKK etc is necessary to bring out in court that those concerned were hard line white supremacists, id suggest from the circumstantial evidence in this case and the physical/technological evidence that the people in question are actually quite dangerous. Consider that before a counter terrorism operation is launched at a significant cost to the public and possibly at the expense of other potential operations (due to need to prioritise and identify real threats) that the police/security services have risk assessed (and yes they dont always get everything right) and found these people to pose potential for harm. Id wager that they would have info that these folks were going to commit some kind of act and this was a preventative measure, if so then it has my full support.

When I was at school (98-04) gay kids got a horrendous time. Im pretty ashamed I was that worried about getting slagged for sticking up for folks that I didnt open my mouth when the homophobic stuff got battered about. Now if my wee guy goes to school and learns about equality and sticks up for his gay mates and basically learns what I know now (without having seen people battered for their sexuality etc) then I’d be absolutely delighted. Ultimately if my wee guy grows up and has same sex relationships and doesnt get harrassed because there’s an emphasis on equality then thats a sign of a society I want to be a part of. I’ve seen people argue on here and on twitter that ‘they’re teaching 5 year olds anal sex’ etc, they’re not, they’re teaching kids that its ok to love someone and that doesnt make you different. See if people find someone in life who makes them happy and is accepted by society and thus contributes to it rather than killing themselves then isn’t that a good thing? So many of the folks on twitter call themselves ‘christians’ etc, well driving people to their death or causing them pain because of their sexuality isnt very fucking christian.

If there are sealed cases at various jurisdictions his job is almost partially done, he can largely pick up where he left off as he’s been smart enough to charge and report as he goes along incase of such a firing. -

Not really, with the greatest respect not every club really cares. Yes Talbot are a big club but ultimately they aren’t going to be the defining factor for any club outwith the Cumnock area.
