  1. Due compensation if joins any other club on a professional contract in Scotland
  2. He isn't a signed Cowdenbeath player - we cant play him
  3. Very big pitch also I think had an impact at this pre-season stage
  4. The team and management took us up from tenth to sixth - a job collectively well done that is the reality. What appalling run between Autumn to Spring - there wasn't one?
  5. I don't recall these at all. Yes we might have had half season tickets where a full season ticket had vouchers 1-9 or 10-18 are torn out (we still do that in December when we remove 1-9 from books and sell them then). But not aware of any tickets being sold where you could just choose 9 out of 18 at random and you would need to know in advance what 9 games you were attending to do that
  6. Many people who only attend some of the games buy a season ticket in order to help the club. Most games about 40 season ticket holders aren't at the match.
  7. But then maybe some folk who buy a full season ticket would just buy a half season ticket and thus the club would have less money
  8. Got a goalie lined up and we then have a team -
  9. The world has changed and it isn't quite as simple as it once was. No longer does possession of a bucket and sponge get you the gig. Physios need to have the correct level of qualifications and certification in order to fully meet licensing requirements. The standards required have increased over the years. Again they are also paid at a higher rate than at one time - minimum wage firstly impacts and so does their level of expertise. They need to be available on Saturdays and say twice a week for training (and sometimes at other times) and work closely with the Club Doctor and coaching staff.
  10. I can bet you it wouldn't - it would be a very substantial fine indeed given breach of SPFL rules and the major damage it would cause as regards the SPFL clubs' treatment of its sponsors. In fact I am pretty certain a club will be made to participate.
  11. You do have to play your first team but that has obviously been looked at flexibly by SPFL thus far
  12. Can't see it being at Oriam - can't play indoors in SPFL regulated match and you would also need a properly enclosed ground with turnstiles, toilets, catering, etc
  13. You have to field your 'first team' and hardly a draconian rule as it was the clubs that agreed the rules. It is also about treating companies who are willing to sponsor Scottish football with respect.
  14. Is there an enclosed ground with facilities to accommodate paying spectators at Oriam?
  15. Its a condition of SPFL membership that clubs in Championship to L2 participate in both League Cup and Challenge Cup - thus if you don't want to play you either need to resign from membership or at the least face a substantial fine.
