Apparently Stuart Findlay is signing for Oxford. There was a mad Killie fan on here who used to proclaim he was miles better than McKenna nd would take his spot in the Scotland team. Don't think things could have panned out more differently.

Not really. I was pretty positive but there was a lot of posts, @tarapoa being a main one who said let's see how we get on when teams aren't playing open football and leaving loads of space at the back etc. I chalked it up to Derek fans being a bit bitter but they were correct. Could hardly accuse the opposition of leaving gaps all over the place against us. Both have sat in with a 4-5-1 formation. That's what we struggled with last year.

There was two horrendous dives/falls from Dumbarton players pretty soon after that. Watching that again, I think his reputation has went against him. Looks like he's waiting for the contact, it doesn't come, sort of stumbles then plays on. If that's anyone of our other players then there's no booking and the game play on.

Something I feel worth highlighting (for the guys not there). It was clear how we want to play. Richardson constantly makes a deep run. He timed it perfectly last night several times but the ball wasn't great or the player didn't play him in. If that ball isn't on then we'll patiently play it about until we find space between the lines. Looks like the perfect combination of McInnes and Glass if we can perfect it. There's definitely a place for Hayes in this set up. Really needs to work on the timing of his runs but once he has that he could be brilliant.
