    Can't see anyone taking Main plus he started the past three or four games hasn't he? Anderson won't be away as he can only play for ourselves or Ayr. From what I remember of Brophy he's a decent player but his decision making is terrible. Hits random shots from miles out that are never troubling anyone. We don't often get to play on the break either which makes it difficult for folk to get in behind.

    Seen a few folk mentioning this as he wasn't in their squad. He's a different option but not sure if he's what we need.

    Bizarre thing to take issue with. If we won we'd have been two points off Celtic. It does comes across like the lip service to the bams that has seeped in under Cormack. There should be a balance between Milne's lack of ambition and Dave promising the world.

    Aye. There's a reason why the players over the age of 24 are playing for Aberdeen. Either too inconsistent, old, injury prone or have reached their peak and won't play for a better team.

    They're sat too deep to do what you are expecting IMO. Their job is to get the ball wide or in to the players behind the striker in this system. I agree both could do more. Main and Hoban's chances were as good as anything United created. Your two best efforts came from outside the box. Connolly should have done better with the free kick that landed on his knee.

    It is what it is. The inhouse commentary mentioned several times that we should be pushing the Old Firm. The chairman has mentioned several times that we should be pushing the Old Firm. The majority of us are not daft. We can see the players the manager has at his disposal. Being a bit better than everyone else is as good as it is going to get for the time being.

    You were certainly better than you were in the first game this season and better than quite a few of the teams that have came to Pittodrie this season.

    Another poor result. United more than earned that point and could have sneaked it. Relying on Curtis Main when you're hoping to split the Old Firm is always going to be an issue. January is a massive month recruitment wise. I don't trust the club to get it right, unfortunately.

    Wright has made a big difference. He looks to take up parts of the pitch Kennedy and Main wouldn't dream of. I don't think anyone can complain about the way the manager has tried to set up today but it does show the failings of some of the recruitment.

    Kennedy (along with GMS and McLennan) have this weird obsession with slowing to a half. Doing a stepover. Giving themselves no space to run in to and then have to either pass backwards or float a cross with no pace in to the box. Lose all momentum.

    United are very stuffy. Disrupting the game with fouls and pretty much forcing us to go long. The lads in the middle need to take control of the game again.

    Even start to the game but pretty much been all us for the last 25 mins. Kennedy looking better than he has been lately but his decision making is beyond woeful. Whether it's refusing to see McGinn running through or playing the ball down the line for Considine to cross in to the defender rather than cutting in himself.

    Maybe I'm just bitter about the result but you didn't match Aberdeen. Motherwell were happy to play for a point (nothing wrong with that) and we struggled to break you down. That's before noting Main missed a sitter minutes in to the game.
