I'm not even sure why HL clubs would go for this. Who gets to decide only 2 of their clubs get the privilege of remaining at T5, when 4 LL clubs do? Are they not the same level?
Think they would also probably lose their voting rights by dropping down to Tier 6

All hail the new Messiah! Good to see a new name joining the managerial lists and not just recycling the same names. Time will of course tell but I’m always the optimist and have new sense of optimism, at least until we play Linlithgow tomorrow.
Note to other clubs: please let us keep this one for a month or two ( you know who you are!)Fresh face, good player back in the day and meant to be sound so hopefully something decent brewing... Or he'll get an offer from Berwick or someone and be gone by August

With no Lithgae and Blackburn in the Premier wonder if Broxburn will get Jeanfield as the designated derby .
Luncarty and Kinnoull will probably come up, get paired off and leave you with Luncarty instead if you're not careful
There is always Glenrothes though...

Last 3 finals... How many clubs are still going?! Only Tollcross with Drum going up to WoS?

To be fair, Montrose Roselea joining doesn't change much. With 19 clubs one team is idle each round. The only real difference is that with 20 teams nobody will be idle anymore. But in my opinion, more games should be played midweek early in the season.
I suppose it's the same number of game-days needed. I was more thinking about getting the season finished on time so there can be a playoff.
At the moment it's a long wait for the team bottom of the HL and 2 of the 3 feeders have still got a bit to go. It's the same down south as well but not as severe, more league games getting played earlier will help though if there's room.

It's something they are going to have to sort out for next season, especially with Montrose joining.
It would have to be 19 games then top/bottom 10 split for 9 more. Is 28 league games enough though? Has to be better than squeezing in 38 games each plus the cups at this level

The likes of them and Stranraer probably shouldn’t have B teams in the pyramid system
Stranraer Reserves actually won the SoS league not long ago but had to forgo the Lowland League playoff as NO CLUB SHALL HAVE MORE THAN 1 TEAM AT TIER 5 OR ABOVE.
Stirling Uni and Uni of Stirling are in the same boat.
Apparently it's in the rules...

The way things stand 20/42 SPFL clubs have some formal 2nd XI. The 3 B teams and Stranraer in the pyramid. Then the SPFL Reserve League and Lowland Development League.
Much like league reconstruction there's interest, just no consensus as across those leagues you've got Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Friday nights as the targeted kick-offs.

North Caley - Golspie or FW
North Juniors - no one yet
Midland - Lochee Utd and Tayport I think so far
Unless anyone above wins their league then there's no promotion/relegation playoff.

Did Inverkeithing not drop all bit the Swifts part of their name or something like that a couple of seasons ago but nobody really bothered and bashed on calling them IHS regardless?

Dont have a clue on WOS leagues but have seen Kinnoull from EOS a good few times and think they are on par with then so defo top half of div 1. Hopefully they can push higher up the league next season but a tough ask with the quality of teams in the league.
I would be surprised if they broke into that top 8, but they've surprised me so far. The whole league has been surprisingly good, I worried the gulf between top and bottom would be too much but everyone has had their say at some point and there hasn't been many cricket scores.

Was at the DNE v Letham
Got to say Letham deserved the win.
Looks like 9th place finish for them, great going after it only being there second season since leaving the amateur ranks.
I would say 'best of the rest' and by a decent margin over teams like Arbroath Vics and Forfar Utd.
Brilliant progress so far.
Where would that put them in the east or west leagues? Are they as good as most teams in the EoS Division 1 or more top half of Div 2?

There's some shite written about that Brora Montrose game, mostly by people who have never watched football north of Dundee.
There's some defending going on by folk who went to the game as neutrals and probably never set foot in Brora or Dudgeon Park.

B teams will only help the actual club that the b team is the extension of.Thats unfair on the rest.
Rangers and Celtic have already ruined competitive Scottish football at the top and now they couldnt leave the womens game alone.Thats in trouble now.
They wouldnt stop at b teams if they got their way.
Youd get Rangers and Celtic C teams soon after. It cannot be allowed and must be stopped now.
Don't bother, just ignore them. It's a known troll account who only comes out to stir the pot when this stuff kicks off... thought we had lost him to Fitba North but some jobbies are more stubborn than others

And not an Aldi bag in sight...
Great moment for the club and brilliantly captured for future generations.

Is it not only 2 up from the Third Division so the leagues can be brought to 16-16-16-12?
That's what I thought, did think there was something not right there! Had to get the fingers and toes out to make sure I hadn't forgotten anyone
