  1. Sorry my bad, I keep on thinking that they joined the year prior to the mass defection of Junior clubs. Ah fair enough.
  2. Bridge of Don needs some new Fox Traps, tbf. Smart thing to do with these clubs is to insert a by-law into EOS constitution that suggests that these clubs cannot be promoted from the basement tier. Second Division North or what ever it will be. This. A good example would be this Season's Scottish Cup, it's allowed Kelty, Bonnyrigg and Linlithgow all live TV matches due to their SFA Licenses and automatic cup entry. It's also seen the EOS league almost die out with 10 clubs a few years ago to becoming a league struggling to decide whether their going to have 3 or 4 full leagues next season. Although it will be a slow progress, things such as full fixtures cards and Auto-cup qualification will help clubs. It will also see sides like Pollok and Talbot reach their appropriate level and create new rivalries - BSC Glasgow (if they move to Lesser Hampden) against Pollok could be a LL clash in a few years time.
  3. I think I'm right in saying that when Inverkeithing joined the EoS a couple of years ago, they were in the same boat as Tweedmouth - getting pumped most weeks and not looking competitive, however, it's really good to see them as a side grow into the EoS albeit having been punted down a tier and finding their own feet as promotion challengers.
  4. Lawrence Shankland is better than them both. Shank You. Mods please move this to Celtic vs Rangers sub-forum.
  5. Honestly, this seems like an utterly wild decision. Killie sacking their manager when they're in the top 6 is mental. They're must be something else going on behind the scenes.

  7. Tbh our last two performances have been quite poor, we've had a mini-blip of late - albeit still winning against the league's worst team (imo) in Morton and a psuedo-home game against Arbroath. Ayr - and Dundee - will be much firmer tests. I reckon it'll be a United 1-0 with Shankland scoring late on thanks to a poor pass back from the midfield... For those saying we've wrapped the league up etc. I would wait until late January/early Feb at least. It's unlikely but we could have our entire side gutted (lose Shanks, Appére and Robson etc.) in the transfer window whilst having a 10-15 point gap - that would be certainly make the league more interesting. I can certainly remember our neighbours blowing it from a similar position in 2009-10.
  8. Fair play to Bet365 that's a class gesture Respect from a SkyBet fan.
  9. Well BOD Thistle play at Aberdeen Sports Village which is certainly not far off HL requirements. Needs turnstiles, and a peh shop. But I'm pretty sure when that poster on another thread said BOD Thistle, he meant Banks o' Dee and not Foxholes Thistle as some are calling them.
  10. Alloa are certainly not the worst team in the league - although you'd imagine when they play United they're probably a bit more up for it. They certainly look a lot better than Morton and Thistle. Fair play to 30 odd, Alloa fans that came up.
  11. One of the designs that Fiorentina are looking at for their new 40,000 seater home.
  12. There's this page called Abercrush at Aberdeen Uni (and RGU) , where folk are just putting the name of a crush into a bot with a message, e.g.a girl I know liked a musician and put "J*** S**** I like your guitar, you can play my strings any time" It's honestly been some of the most honking Freshers patter I've seen.
  13. Got an Aberdeen - Dundee train this evening. Not really a c***s on a train story, but the train felt like it was a way to fall to bits. Automatic Doors opening and closing without prompt, flickering lights etc. Wifi wasn't working properly and just to make it worse, a c**t two rows from me was streaming WWE on his tablet without using earphones. The doors on the train when getting off wouldn't open, just a bit shite. Just looked it up and Abellio bought the Class 43 second hand from First Great Western ffs.
  14. Banks O'Dee is right next to the railway line, but quite far from the station (about a mile)
  15. Don't know about that, they Americans are hard as nails:
  16. I mean that can be said of any and every football player that has either a good agent or an Adobe PremierPro subscription. Still surprised yous haven't punted McPake yet. Reckon a loss to Arbroath will be the death nail?
  17. No, I hate talk like this. Gives me flashbacks to Rado saying "We can win the treble" One game at a time. If we're 20-odd points clear then we can focus on that.
