‘Following Zak Rudden’s red card received away to Falkirk on Saturday, the Jags striker will serve a one-match suspension, effective for our next league match.’

Big game this, we cannot afford to slip up after throwing away a lead against Cove. I expect a really tough game from this one.
Hope we go with the same line up from last night.
Really not in the mood for this cup tie after yesterday’s performance. I want us to get through for the prize money and also I want to see my team win. However, if we do get through it will add another fixture to an already hectic schedule.
I’ll say 1-0 Thistle in a very poor game.
A very low quality game. Cove threatened more before our goal, after we scored we really should have gone two up and we fail to score which comes back to bite us in the arse. Don’t want to be harsh on Sena though as he is a young talent in our team.
We only seemed to wake up after scoring if I’m honest. Meggison took his goal well and after that both sides came close to a winner so overall a draw was probably a fair result.
This was never going to be a great watch with both teams having not played for just under three months, but it has been pretty dull.
The game opened up slightly more late on, so hopefully it is a bit of a better second half.
Very important game to reopen the season with. It will be interesting to see how both teams play as both will likely be pretty rusty after a lengthy time off.
A lot of new options in the squad for us so I’m unsure of what lineup we will go for.
McDaid should do a job for us at this level, we do lack pace out wide which he can offer.
His arrival and Spittal playing for County this week makes it look like Spittal is not coming back.
Was great for us for three seasons. In his fourth and final season in which we were relegated he was injured for half of it and was poor for most of when he played.
He has floated about multiple clubs since leaving us and I couldn’t tell you his level now, but he didn’t look great when he played against us for Falkirk and Queen of The South.
I’m not sure if they will null and void it though as if the Premiership and championship continue promotions and relegations will continue with them too. Unless there is no relegation from the championship this season.
They may do a points per game again. Can’t wait for that debacle all over again if that’s the route they choose to go down.
