  1. I wasn't being serious you silly goose. Bit weird you defended the flag part so passionately but weren't offended by the nazi salute comment.
  2. Union Jack pride of place and nazi salute from blue jacket. Not surprised in the slightest.
  3. I see the SPFL have given clubs permission to stream tonight's games on PPV. Will cove be offering that or do you not have the facilities to anymore?
  4. To be fair I wouldn't watch a video of Owen Coyle in a match where you'd beaten us which is why I've unfortunately watched four videos of Owen Coyle this season.
  5. Strapp and Roy are both out for the season according to Imrie in his pre match interview. Roy hasn't really done much but by all accounts he cost us peanuts and was basically a bonus signing due to his personal circumstances allowing him to come back to Scotland.
  6. We've struggled to break down teams like Cove all season while giving teams like Dundee and Queens Park tough games so I'm definitely not counting any chickens for Friday night. We've given ourselves a chance though and I have faith in these players to go out and get their side of the job done.
  7. I watched the highlights this morning wondering if Morton had edited out lots of Queens Park good play/chances that Coyle was talking about and then I realised I was watching the Queens Park highlights.
  8. Just saw Calum Ferrie's interview and the victorys always taste so much sweeter when the opposition can't help but trot out the " they do what they do well" pish we get every time they've been pumped.
  9. Local paper reporting that Tidser is after our youth academy player Reece Lyon who is currently on loan at Annan. https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.greenocktelegraph.co.uk%2Fsport%2F23480316.morton-midfielder-reece-lyon-leaving-cappielow%2F Never quite lived up to his potential so far but he's made over 100 appearances for us and definitely has ability and also seems to be having a good second half of the season with Annan.
  10. Thought I was going to have to come on and plead my case for Baird to be in my team alongside Grimshaw but I see he's had a few mentions. Utterly flabbergasted at how good he's been this season to be honest. Barely lost a header all season, has scored 6 goals o think and performs at least a 7/10 most games, rarely dropping below a 6/10. Probably suits playing for a team like us that just want our defenders to defend but he's been my Morton player of the year above even Grimshaw.
  11. We were favourites for relegation in pre season then we had a financial crisis that left us playing youth players with no subs until we got external funding. The squad is much better now but not going down was our sole aim this season to start with.
  12. Shame for us that Dundee scored just as the fans were really starting to get on their players and the referee. Pretty even game with Dundee perhaps having the better attacking situations however their final ball has been absolutely dreadful. Big second half for our season coming up.
  13. Congratulations on your one point against us this season which is still one point more than your pointless post.
  14. Coyley's tears tonight are even more glorious after he gave it the old " Morton have a certain way of going about things" pish again. Nae luck big man.
  15. He was good for us last season in the championship once he got his first goal. He was the championship player of the month in January 2022. Up until he got his fitness going and that first goal he was pretty useless but once he was up to speed he was an extremely valuable member of our starting 11 and most Morton fans would have been more than happy for him to stay at us.
  16. So it turns out our first goal was neither offside or a foul on Ferrie. Didn't realise at the time that Oakley showed a decent bit of composure to make sure he got the shot away for his second. Very unlucky not to get his hattrick as well with the one off the post. Muirhead will be disappointed with the free header and the one on one he missed. We need to keep him scoring consistently to keep his confidence up so hopefully he can bang in a couple next week.
  17. Brilliant win! Team played well majority of the game and did well to hold on when it went to 3-2. Bit shaky for 5 mins after the goal but after that we didn't really concede too many chances from the territory we were conceding and Muirhead had the best chance of all to seal the game after another defensive blunder. No failures in the team but thought Crawford, Blues and Mcgrattan were outstanding, especially when they were on the park together.
  18. We should be out of sight by now. Hopefully we keep this performance up the rest of the game and don't tire as we have been relentless in midfield.
  19. Good half from us and just unfortunate that we aren't more ahead as you'd imagine QP will come out and play better in the second half. Surprised how all over the place Queens are at the back so hopefully we can keep the pressure on them and see the game out. Just good to see us impose our game on an opponent again. No surprises really that it happens when Mcgrattan is back in the team. He just brings much better shape to the team when he's in the starting line up that we don't have when he's replaced with an out and out winger.
  20. Who was the big guy in Central midfield? He absolutely dominated us. Looks a real find just like Oakley the first half of the season.
  21. Peaked with our one good piece of football after 3 minutes. Absolutely bullied for the majority of the rest of the game, which is something you can't say about us normally. Arbroath comfortably deserved their win.
  22. Can only see him adding to Queens' inconsistent performances this season rather than solving them.
