They both looked young. The centre half was steady without being anything special, he did get megged once but he looked alright. The other one was quite small but decent build, he was a right winger who got down the wing a couple of times. Don't think either would push for the first team.

Mackin has taking stick from most of us. He isn't athletic and he looks an awkward big lump but give him decent service which he got today from Dunne and Robson down the left and he will score goals. We have a midfield who aren't capable of nice silky stuff so get back to basics 4-4-2 get the ball out to the likes of Dunne and Greenwood and get balls into the box. Time to play to what little strengths we currently have.

Greenwood was down the left 1st half and Dunne came on 2nd and they switched. Dunne and Robson looked decent together down the left. Dunne must have got to the byeline 5 or 6 times and got good crosses in.

Just back from the game, start of September and I was fucking frozen [emoji16] Enough moaning from me and onto the game. Mitchell looked solid in goal which was good to see. Greenwood again looked decent and Robson put a shift in. Dunne was excellent when he came on, got down the line and fired loads of crosses in. Big Mackin is a lump but given decent service he will score. McKee was steady and is definitely no worse that what we currently have in midfield. The worry for me was the likes of TOE, Turner, Petra didn't look great in a reserve fixture. Good to see McKinnon in his Falkirk gear, it fair suits him.

He is playing Centre Half but not a clue who he is. Just looks like a young boy. Also a trialist on the bench as well.

I looked at the league yesterday, hadn't been paying much attention to it as I knew what position we were in. Was really surprised the Fifers are only 3 points above us as I would have sworn they had won a couple of games. First day for Ray today, clean slate for the players but by f**k the finger needs to come out big time and they need to get us up that table pronto !!

A draw at Ayr would be decent in his first game, even a draw at home to United wouldn't be bad before we go to Alloa for the relegation decider [emoji16] Got to try and get some points on the board soon.

Wonder if McKinnon will try and bring any free agents in. A right back would be grand.

Going to go and see the reserves tomorrow. Hope Rudden get's a bit of game time so I can get a look at him. Hope McKinnon is there so I can wish him the best of luck, he is going to need it.

I have seen us play a 3 twice this season and both times it hasn't worked. I agree with the back 4, first and foremost for me McKinnon has to sort the keeper and defence. Make us hard to beat and stop conceding stupid goals and it's a starting block to build on. A 4 man defence does that best for me with the players we

Stainrod is and will always be the best player I have ever seen in a Falkirk jersey. Whether that would have continued over a long period of time who knows but for the short period we had we were truly blessed.

At least there is two weeks for McKinnon to work with the players and assess what he has to work with. He should just use next Saturday as a glorified friendly to try things out. Just got to hope and pray he can keep us in touching distance until he can get players in and out cone January.

I mind that, was horrible to watch Marino fitting on the park. There was a couple of older woman standing next to us and they were in tears. Truly horrendous to witness just glad he recovered.

Morton boys having a bit of a meltdown on twitter over McKinnon. Are they the first club to have their gaffer nicked by a bigger club.

I feel sorry for Jim, Midge and Tids. They are the real losers in this sorry affair [emoji16]
