The loans on the stadium aren't helping us. The figures quoted on here are anything between £350 - £400k we are paying back each season. How much that is affecting the quality of player we can bring in is anyone's guess. I still would rather have had a completed stadium with the budget we had than what we have now. Each to their own opinion though.

The problem was though we spunked the same amount of cash on a stand/pitch as other clubs spent on full stadiums and we are paying fortunes on loans for other stands. Don't get me wrong the main stand is beautiful but a stadium something like Livingston or St Mirren would have done the job without the necessity for the loans.

Have never seen Rodgers play and don't know enough about him to comment on whether he would be a decent signing or not.

Russell was excellent playing at the left side of centre back for the reserves. Much better than Dallison.

The bottom line is every single one of us absolutely loves Falkirk Football Club. We don't support the team for glory we support them out of genuine love. My Dad was a Falkirk Bairn through and through, he started taking me to games in 1972. We used to go to the stand and I used to sit and look at the choir and think one day I will be in their singing my heart out for the navy blue and as soon as I was old enough that's where I was. It's my local team there is a connection through area and generations of family. I could never have travelled to Glasgow and followed a team through religion I have no connection with. I remember sitting in the Leapark one night having a drunken conversation with Crunchie and it was clear he felt exactly the same about the club. I just hope someone at the club is making these players aware of what it means to play for Falkirk Football Club. Someone on FB said they should be taken to the exhibition in Callendar House to learn about the history of FFC and what it means to the area. Most of us would have given everything to have the chance to pull on the navy blue just once and I hope these c***s realise how much we are hurting at the moment.

Director of football would be nice but is this over and above a CEO. If so where is the cash coming from for this role. If we have any spare money it needs to go to McKinnon for players.

Yeah I agree with this. It's clear the board who are supposedly fans like us are unwilling to put their money in without something in return so give out shares and I will gladly donate to BFL.

Will probably take some of your better players off you but there will be no cash changing hands. We see something we like in Greenock and we take it, that's just the way it works.

I can't see any mention in the email I got of £50k going to Morton for McKinnon and co. Also if what she says is true Project Brave seems to be a major factor in scrapping the academy. Appears to be another example of the powers that be looking after the bigger clubs and f**k all the rest.

Looked really comfortable in the reserve game. Better than Dallison anyway, put in a right good few tackles and used the ball well.

I would play Russell at left centre half. Looks the best of what I have seen in that position so far.

Don't know about Dunne, Russell and Robson being left out but Greenwood had a bit of a howler with the reserves on Monday. Didn't really look interested. Thought McKinnon's after match interview was very good. He is saying the right things and I am confident he can keep us up. I am however an eternal optimist.

McKinnon must be itching to empty the majority of these c***s.
