  1. Sounds like someone is putting his name forward for the website job ! Probably a modern day fan who wants everything done yesterday, but doesn't actually help at all. Think the fixtures , k.o times are important, results sometime in the evening (on a Sat) We can usually get stuff from each clubs website IF we are impatient.

It may sound like ive got too much on my plate but its a manageable workload just didnt count on being laid low for so long so like i said playin catchup, plus we wont be weds sat weds sat so more time during the week to get things done

Good luck with the website and getting over covid, yet again the job's down to one man and people just grumble ! Sure all the various leagues website folk can communicate with each other, to iron out any problems. We can get most news from other places until you're up and running 100%

  3. Can't blame clubs for asking more - as said on here, trying to recoup £ for ground improvements etc. Going Senior, it's great to pay just £7-8 imo, hasn't really increased much over the years. Would be happy to pay between £6- £10 for any division in the WOSFL,  around the going rate. Better than £30+ for some Elite Lge shite.

  4. Hopefully before long, the HL will become a division of ambitious clubs, all with half decent support, and with grounds that fit the bill. Sounds like some clubs are trying to improve, good luck to them. Seems amazing that some clubs wouldn't want to be promoted, after winning a league, though we had it for years around Bristol - win the County League, but promotion could mean trips to Oxford etc (150 ml round trips) which the players didn't want.Difficult.

  5. We've had the PPG and whether leagues could actually be completed, I can see the B team/tables/promotion saga being discussed throughout the season.Best non B team put forward ? Imagine both Colts being 20 points ahead of the 3rd team, is the next best non B team an actual ruling ? Try to keep up with things, sometimes beyond me !

  6. Good to get things up and running then, apart from the Talbot, what sort of crowds did the other games get yesterday ? Hopefully the fans turned up in numbers, if allowed of course. Went over to Caerleon v Caldicot in the FAW Trophy, 00, 23 on pens, att around 50. Look to have two good weeks up in Scotland Oct/Nov.

  7. Scottish F.A Trophy ?  Always thought that if someone had a decent job say £250+ a week and then got paid £50-100 for playing, he was just a footballer who hadn't turned professional. I loved watching the juniors and just see every club in the same light, now  they've gone Senior.

  8. Think that IF the clubs had stayed as Juniors, then there would have been NO improvements to grounds etc as promotion was limited if not almost impossible from that level. Fully expect any clubs that didn't/couldn't run with the flock - could have gone amateur ? albeit a weaker level.

  9. Biggest question for me is, with the pyramid now in place (albeit dodgy foundations)  are there enough players to go around these clubs ? Add to this, the possible expense on ground upgrades down the line, guess that only the ambitious and financially sound clubs would climb the ladder.
