  1. I can't see many away fans bothering to do Rangers B ' the big away day' guessing if you go, then you support the whole idea ? Are Rangers fans getting excited I wonder ? Suppose in reality they should sell out home games if the limit is say 3-500, if they're interested.

  2. Really can't see, in my simple mind, how the reserves etc doesn't work. Play with and against old pro's, along with similar youngsters, when they're ready, into the 1st team. The youngsters had a go in the Lge Cup and didn't set the world alight, seems that it's just the OF who don't understand.Hope the idea is dead in the water now.

  3. Seemingly some big clubs in the UK have a 'he's too young' attitude' We wouldn't have seen Pele until he was 25 In this country. World Cup winner ?  Nothing beats seeing young/local kids being given a chance, come on academies, earn your bloody money  now.If the OF can't do it, give these kids a chance somewhere else.

  4. Think there's only so much you can do in being called Glasgow something, an attempt to attract new fans and sponsorship ? A loss of identity  but will it  be long before they revert back, I wonder. Can understand if the club links with a youth team etc or gets a big sponsor.

  5. Fortunately I've never witnessed any trouble in Scotland, guess it only needs a spark to see people react. Don't need these problems at this level, think of the few volunteers who run the clubs, not fair on them. Good luck with the new season around the corner, enjoy the beer and enjoy the games.

  6. Because of the ease of travel I've neglected the EOS apart from a few games, will try to get back to Aberdeen/Edinburgh to give it a go ! Brilliant that the licenses are being reached thick and fast. Remember things are mostly done by volunteers, so please help out if you can.

  7. Good luck and you'll enjoy every minute, I try to see a few things apart from the 90 minutes when I travel. Probably not going down to the basic roped off pitch standard myself, but you have a few good years ahead ! Am looking forward to seeing many ground improvements since my last visits.

  8. Fully expect every ground requirements are part of ground grading, just like down south. Many clubs have facilities to accommodate 2-300 etc when they only attract 50. Can understand the need for rules, but think some leeway should be given to clubs, costly improvements. Put up lights then have no midweek games, ludicrous.

  9. Rumour is that clubs will happily take a brown envelope full of cash, stuff the supporters, no long term strategy, obey the OF threats/promises, forget the integrity of the game, only a rumour of course 👎 This crap seems to have gone on for years, go away to some Super League please.

  10. If you're good enough then you're old enough, get the 18-20 yr olds in the first team and get on with it. Colts in spfl2 won't gain much, the odd starlet may get through. Why not put everyone's Colts in an spfl3 oh yeah just like the reserve league they keep fu**ING up ⚽ Bin the whole idea before it's too late.

  11. I take it for granted down south from step 6 upwards, but to see so many Scottish clubs with possible lights, cover and seating available, is excellent stuff. Glad that clubs can find the £ along with grants etc in these difficult times. A pyramid in place and clubs modernising, well done to all clubs involved.

  12. Excellent stuff to see so many clubs obtain their licences after working hard, some things ain't cheap and there is always opposition to floodlights etc. All over a benefit to us fans with better facilities, let's use them in good numbers. Can't wait to return North in October, I hope.

  13. Would prefer to see the three champions clubs have a straight knock out with the HL bottom 3, winner takes all. Old fashioned I know, just like to see champions get a deserved promotion. Too many clubs continually finish around the bottom with no real chance to improve, need to find a level. At least ambitious clubs are starting to see a pathway, albeit slowly.

  14. Think the integrity of the game must be retained, every non league club must see an opportunity to scale the ramparts into the spfl - then to play every game with 3 pts at stake, with promotion or relegation on offer. Having colts teams doesn't mean they will all reach the 1st team, going out on loan must be preferable.Sadly the ££ may play a part in swaying clubs minds.

  15. Think the OF and other big clubs need to be asked why the reserve/youth/academy structure seems to fail every season. Because there are loads of fans watching non league, are many of these players good enough to step up to spfl championship/1 level ? Clubs can't be bothered to put in 5-6 years work on a youngster anymore, preferring to buy over-priced foreigners, who usually fail. Bin the colts.

  16. Glasgow Nomads, location unknown. Sometimes ambition (dreams) don't match reality, difficult to see how to attract new support in some areas. Good luck anyway, good intentions etc.
