Think the UK is doing all it can to get back to some sort of reality by September- economy now more important than saving lives it appears. Guessing a crowd of around 500 at non league could be spaced out fairly well around the ground.

Watching with interest how the Covidiots act down here in England, with pubs, caravan parks etc reopening and the Spanish desperate for our cash. Only wants a gentle rise or surge in cases to put us back months. At least the SFA stuff is positive enough, not in any rush to get back. Hopefully we can get a reliable test to push things onwards.

Can understand your desire to get football back on, how do you cater for the neutral, visiting, football fan in general ? Not everyone can afford a season ticket or some just do what they can afford on a weekly basis. Think maybe there could be a 'Fans Pass' (costing £10+) and then you have to apply to the clubs involved to get a match ticket, only an idea.

Be interesting to see a return in Sept/Oct and how many clubs are still going - IF clubs don't want to play, does this make them amateurs and not suited for membership of the spfl ? (only joking) Think playing home and away is sufficient for 20/21 no need to play same club 3 or 4 times. Maybe season 21/22 could see a change in lge structure keeping part time and full time apart ?

Totally agree, once the schools are back with few restrictions, then I'm sure some football can return. Having a guess at possibly September or October, if everyone feels safe doing so. Think the kids can't wait to get training and playing again.

Yeah get all the paperwork done, planning permission etc- always some twat trying to find fault, that wall 5mm out of place blah blah. Hopefully I can get to see some of the ground Improvements before too long, keep up the good work

Will try to have a look around how many suitable grounds there are in Scotland, seen a few on my wanders, can't recall where they all are ! Do the various FA's in Scotland have their own grounds like many do in England ? Be a bad start to the U20 if there weren't enough grounds available.

Considering the geography, I'm amazed that the North has the HL as a senior league, to get a feeder league would be another step forward. Guess the juniors are happy where they are, allowing for ambitious clubs to progress if they wish. Have only seen a few HL games, where is the league in comparison to the English set up ?

Guessing he's not Traffordab, his posts usually wind me up/ have me in stitches/or have me thinking 'what a clown' - enjoyable though ! Only fan banter - some people take it so personally
All the anti Premier messages are quite funny, thought all the West clubs were fairly similar to be honest.

Be interesting tho, win the summer league and then get ready for a winter league - definitely be match fit I'd guess ! Almost Fantasyland stuff but wouldn't it be a great story. And none of the gut busting pre-season training to look forward to. Almost like playing rugby league and then Union Inthe winter, just to stay fit.

IF the Queen of Hearts lose the court case v Judge Jefferies, what are the possible outcomes afterwards ? Could they be expelled, would they take their football and walk off to pastures new ? I want to see a club take the spfl to court, saying we don't want to be promoted - yeah just as pathetic I know.

Couldnt the Edinburgh clubs use Hearts ground, give em a bit more income eh
Could any of them use the Oriam training ground at all ? Any idea how many suitable pitches are available around Edinburgh ? not an area that I've travelled around.

Think that's ok, Nairn probably trying to find the best level of football for its youngsters - being affordable too. In sharp contrast to the pathetic news from 'big' Celtic and the dropping of their academy. Laughable crying about finance, bigger the club, bigger the moan.

That's ok then the players may live in the same house
so can go ond have a knees-up in the park. Sure players can do enough running by themselves, only need the match practice/fitness before the season starts. The way the English gov is opening up everything at speed, reckon the English non LGE could restart in September with restrictions.

Now that the pyramids are almost built, really can't see why any club wouldn't want to progress upwards. Build up the youth section, do the grounds up, attract new fans possibly, just give clubs a chance eh. All the clubs still exist despite leaving the historic juniors, let's get behind them.

Isn't this part of the problem, almost as tho youngsters demand the money, recognition, flash cars etc without proving anything. Why is it beyond them to start in the lower leagues/divisions and work your way up to the Premier League's ? Always say that the better kids will make it through - to sit on the bench and play 10 games a season ? Seems as if they're happy with that.

Correct, the 3 (promoted) clubs have done nothing wrong and have every right to defend themselves. As to being hated, by whom ? 15,000 Hearts fans and 5,000 Patrick, not exactly scary is it ? Sure all the spfl would be against Hearts rather than these 3 clubs. Or was the 'donation' cash to buy their silence ?

Is this colts thing going to be discussed at any AGM or something ? or was it just based on someone hearing some gossip ? I think the promotion issue puts the idea to bed, along with being totally unfair on clubs trying to reach the pot of gold SPFL.

Only my humble opinion but I'd go for all the WOSFL divisions to be 16 by 3 years, probably see a couple of clubs fall by the wayside or see the HL and LL increase numbers. Possibly some clubs won't meet the criteria, but I think the 30 game season is enough at lower levels.

Surely best way is for the government to announce 'If the number of deaths, cases, hospital admissions is at such a number - then we will allow all football to resume on/by such a date' At least people will then know, and be able to plan. I'm sure there will be increases almost everywhere, couple more mass gatherings etc should do the trick. Is this a case of fear over being rational ? both of which I understand.

Only trying to see a way that all the court legal crap could have been avoided, who says next season starts in August ? who says the SPL is going to be 10/12/14 teams ? No one really knows yet.
22 hours ago, itzdrk said:Everyone who voted in favour of ending the league in the original vote is a bully.
Much the same as a masked crusader handing out cash as a bribe
No strings of course.

Couldn't the play offs be played at the same ground, behind closed doors even up to July ? Surely if the spfl announced final tables, based on any method, and announced play offs, then what's the point of club's crying ?

Guess if the spfl was being logical - season ends on PPG, the top sides promoted - with the bottom side playing off v the side 2nd in the lge below. All they had to do was a blanket decision across all leagues, no arguing then. Sure someone would be against such an idea !

Maybe the judge will take a look at the fraudulent use of Football Club after the Hearts name, never known such a drawn out saga. IF clubs had voted to end the season using whatever method, then that's all folks. IF clubs voted to pause the season, that's different altogether. Judge says ' on the evidence before me,I firmly believe that Hearts would have won every game to be played'
