  1. Like Darvel, this is a result which will haunt us for years. A fantastic opportunity to reach the Europa League thrown away.
  2. What makes this worse is that Hacken are beatable. Robson has royally screwed up here. Our defence is a shambles. We weren't clinical when the chances arose. Frustrating night all round. Well done to Hacken. Will keep an eye out for their results in Europe.
  3. Aye but would he have scored three goals and set up a penalty over the two legs.
  4. Sadiq is the difference. Without him and Aberdeen go through.
  5. Furious at Rubezic. What a stupid lunge. Miovksi and Duk both guilty of missing chances they should have scored. We've thrown this away.
  6. 1 min into the second half and the Aberdeen players have lost all confidence. There's no urgency. They just want the game over with. Morris is virtually walking around the pitch.
  7. The first goal is just a wonder strike from Sadiq. The second goal was completely against the run of play but it starts with Miovski feigning injury and taking the sting out of Aberdeens attack. If he hadn't he'd have probably had a free header. Going to take some real heroics to turn this one around.
  8. I sadly I think we are heading out the Europa League. I can't see a way back now. Conference league it is.
  9. We really need to find a replacement for Ramadani soon.
  10. Completely against the run of play. Both goals. Duk should have scored. We've been the better side.
  11. Scott Burns reporting we are in advanced talks with a few players and Hendrick will likely choose an English Championship side over us if presented the opportunity. He also said of Allan Campbell that "will not be Happening". Also forget about Mattie Pollock signing as he "is not an active option".
  12. Evening Express reporting we are looking to sign Jeff Hendrick on loan from Newcastle.
  13. I see Lecce attempted to hijack the Aberdeen deal to sign Rubezic. There must be something about him. Was my MOTM against Livingston, I thought he did well in spells against both Hacken and Celtic and like everyone in the team he had an undoubtedly poor game against St Mirren. He's just a young lad who needs time to become accustomed with the Scottish game/culture. He's definitely got the physical attributes and I'm sure he'll improve under Agnew and Robson's guidance. Like Duk, raw talent that just needs honed.
  14. I'd argue we need two midfielders. Still early days but I'm just not convinced Polvara is suited for the Scottish game or Robson's tactics, I'm really not fussed if Barron leaves and I'm skeptical as to whether Shinnie has the legs to perform twice a week. We certainly need some height in the middle and some added presence.
  15. On a positive note. From the limited minutes, I thought Jensen looked decent. The team looked tired yesterday after Thursday exertions. Performance was undoubtably poor however we earned a point that we didn't receive away to St Mirren all of last season. We move on.
  16. Go have a look over on AFC Chat. Numerous comments on the match day thread claiming a draw against St Mirren is unacceptable.
  17. Considering we played in Europe only a few nights ago, still integrating new players into the squad and the abject performance we saw today. That's a good result. Folk will complain about drawing away to Livingston and St Mirren but they are actually good results in what appears to be an even tougher league this season. Look Hearts getting beat by Dundee today.
  18. That's penalty. Exactly the same as the one given against MacDonald.
  19. St Mirren deserve their win and they deserve to be top of the league. I've nothing against them. Only plus is Jensen looks a good addition. We need more bodies in if we are going to compete on all fronts this season. If Hibs have any sense they'd attempt to lure Robinson to Easter Road.
  20. MacDonald has been a nightmare for us at the back. Embarrassing performance. So much wrong today.
