Would not say Rangers were off in the second half. Aberdeen became a diffrent team when they made changes.

To be fair there is only one fool who would have signd these players. I'm not saying I'm happy Gus is gone. I'm saying our income has dropped by quite a margin.

The out cry when Gus came in , the out cry when Gus leaves. The club income has been slashed. Goodwin towork with a smaller squad so if you can save a wage on backroom staff for a player it's a no brainer.

Must admit was surprised you turned down a million unless it was instalments and performance related. Good on you though England can pay silly money but expect to get players up here for buttons.

I have written off both our next two games with the old firm both clubs will be going tooth and nail for wins. I thought Aribo looked very good against Aberdeen. Rangers have dangers all over the park that can do us damage. Saints have now got a very good back line the best I have seen in a long time. We need to be more composed when coming out picking passes carefully. punting the ball up the park to a lone striker does not work it just gives the ball back to the opposition 9 times out of 10. Aberdeen did the same in the first half Rangers rang them ragged. So I'm not expecting any points but would be over the moon if we did.

Vince I agree it's only one game in and the team in general will improve . I cant remember one stand out performance last season from Kyle. McPherson is a standout that boy will move on to bigger things.

If you look at the salary of ether old firm teams against smaller clubs its huge . Celtic players avarage salary is £895,000. Hamilton is £41,000. If Celtic were to drop points every player should be sacked. I'm a buddie our next two games are against the old firm which I have written off also.

McAlister is too light weight and Morias panics too much. I'd like to see what Thor can do. McAllister unfortunately is not the player we thought he was due to injury problems. Championship level at best even that I have my doubts .

Cant agree midfield looks solid though there is not a lot can be done at this time given who is available. Livie are physical in the middle hope we can deal with it. Our back line is impressive.

I like your team but midfield looks far too light with two wingers . Dont think your to far out given injuries and size of squad.

Reading the first preview of this match by SportMole online who see Livingston coming out 2-1 winners. Most pundits have Saints in another relegation battle this season. I suppose given our history when in the top flight over the past ten years it should not come as a surprise. Within the St Mirren camp Jim Goodwin mindset is we can get into the top six, Tony Fitzpatrick saying we will be top six this season, most of our level headed fans will tell you that's a bit optimistic fingers crossed though. Livingston fell 6 points short of a Europa place which is a shining light for smaller clubs in the Premiership.
