Tuned in last Friday to get the previews of the QoS-Caley game which they were covering live. Of course, all the discussion was about whether pure magic GvB would make the pure magic Ranjurs even magicker. Infuriating, but then you switch on on the Saturday at 2pm and you get the same discussion all over again with a fresh panel including a suspiciously enthusiastic Chic 'St Mirren Fan, Aye Right...' Young.

Rangers want the Scottish football press corps to all be like Chris Jack, lightly rewording their press releases for publication or broadcast.

Must see how Chris Jack ('Lead Rangers Writer' for The Herald - it's not just the tabloids) has responded to Gerrard's departure. His main job is to redraft Rangers press releases for The Herald and he generally avoids controversy, but he must be hurting all the same.

I'd rather have properly-trained, quality refs that don't get pressurised by the OF. I don't want the flow and spontaneity of the game getting disrupted by the ref going to watch telly.
