  1. Well done Bonnyrigg closing in on the title .
  2. Hearts 1-2 Celtic @ Tynecastle. Celtic 2-0 up and cruising but Hearts changed it and should have levelled from spot but effort came back off the inside of the post. Crowd 17,967.
  3. It would have been about 50 without them. Another nice pay day for a LL club.
  4. Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool @ Selhurst Park. A 2nd trip to London in 3 days. Crowd 25,002.
  5. Saturday ... Edinburgh University 0-6 Celtic B in the Lowland League @ East Peffermill . Comfortable win for the visitors who raced into a 3-0 lead early on. Crowd 161.
  6. Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool ... League Cup SF 2nd Leg (0-2 on Agg). Crowd 59,360. Not bad for £10 well done Arsenal on the prices.
  7. Last night in Tranent ... Edinburgh City 0-12 Celtic ... Scottish Women’s Cup R3. @ Foresters Park. A big win for an impressive Celtic side. It was probably a good job they made a lot of changes in the 2nd half. Fair play to City who battled away right to the end. Crowd 185.
  8. Any truth in the rumours Tranent going to be playing in sky blue and changing the ground name to the Etihad? 🏟
  9. On Saturday ... Edinburgh United 2-2 Craigroyston @ Paties Road Stadium. United well on top in the 1st half but don’t score and concede (a very good goal to be fair). An equaliser finally comes on 67 minutes and what finally looked like a winner on 83 however Craigroyston then levelled from a corner 3 minutes into injury time. Crowd 51.
  10. I suspect they’ll get a doing themselves on Wednesday now !
  11. Leith Athletic 5-0 Craigroyston ... Crowd 117. Comfortable win for title chasing Leith at a freezing Peffermill.
  12. The big smoke on Sunday ... Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool @ Stamford Bridge. Liverpool 2-0 up but Chelsea fight back and despite trying desperately neither side could find a winner. Crowd 40,072.
  13. Also at Ainslie Park. University of Stirling 3-2 Edinburgh University. Stirling 3-0 up at HT and cruising but nearly threw it away. Loads of familiar faces in the crowd of 120.
  14. Blackburn United 2-2 Camelon on Wednesday night. Good game between 2 sides battling relegation in the EoSFL, Premier Division. Crowd 151.
  15. Unfortunately the relegation of 4 or 5 created by a season with no relegation and another null and void with WW saved both times.
  16. Down fighting by the sounds of it but sadly ultimately another defeat for the kiddo and the guys. Tier 7 will certainly be no walk in the park, there will be some very good sides (ie 2 of Leith, Haddington & Dunipace from Conference A alone) and ultimately a 1st Division full of sides who have their house in order. With a mind boggling turnover of managers and players that’s something WW simply haven’t managed in what is a 4th consecutive season at the bottom of the table.
  17. As FWF has mentioned getting a reserve league of some form is a must. It’s worth remembering that other clubs didn’t want to fund a B team. It won’t be popular but I see the Vale had circa 400 for the visit of Rangers B yesterday. £10 a ticket that’s a big pay day by LL standards.
  18. Leicester City 1-0 Liverpool @ King Power Stadium ... Liverpool see an early pen saved with the rebound coming off the bar, numerous other chances and somehow contrive to lose. Crowd 32,230.
  19. Chesterfield 1-1 Halifax Town ... Top of the table clash yesterday in the National League. Home side equalised 10 mins from time after the had a penalty award overturned by the linesman. Decent game probably fair result. Sell out 8106 (779 away).
  20. Do they not just play the same teams as everyone else?
  21. If my plans for this season work out, I should get at least halfway through the 92, as a long term project I want to finish that one day. Good stuff Marten. I’ve got about 20 to go. Going to Chesterfield on the 28th hopefully they come up lol.
