  1. Nope, I won't, but I wish all the fairweather friends would. A Scotland support is not there to be entertained - it's pretty much *never* entertaining. It should be about giving the team a lift when they need it. That support today did nothing to lift a team who were clearly giving there all. I don't give a toss about singing Flower of Scotland in time if you're not gonna be there when the team needs you. I get the point about strange circumstances and hard to get a song going, but it seemed noticeably easier to do it before the Czechs scored.
  2. For most of the last 23 years the Scotland team didn't deserve the support the fans showed. Today was different..... Imagine waiting so long for a tournament, being one of the few who gets a ticket, not seen a real game for over a year, and then completely disappearing from the moment your team goes behind. Sorry but that was a really shitey home support. I know that there wasn't that many fans there, but I've been in small crowds at Hampden that offered *far* more to support the team. Darren Fletcher clearly noticed it but was trying to be diplomatic. The team were better than the support today - and the team weren't great
  3. Time to bring Malin/Kelly/Nicolson/MacDonald/Morrison etc back from up the road. Should be enough to deal with anything coming up from the lower leagues...
  4. Plymouth vs Sunderland 0-[1], Ross 21' (streamable.com)
  5. I think Ross Stewart's first start for Sunderland today. Seems to have impressed the locals.... https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/plymouth-v-sunderland-match-thread.1549242/post-33801777
  6. Damn near perfect summary of County's season. The only bit you missed was Stephen Kelly takes a pass from a centre half and immediately gives him it back without either player moving
  7. Um, well...... Serge Aurier: PSG defender refused entry to UK before Arsenal game - BBC Sport
  8. How do you fit 2 left backs in the team? Turns out you play them both as left backs
  9. Would you be so confident about Scotland leathering them?
  10. Hamstrung only if Clarke told them all to just shuffle the ball to the next guy and do absolutely bugger all off the ball. McTominay in midfield would have been just the same - that's pretty much his game.
  11. Just came on to say that was abysmal - but I see everyone has already noticed that. Now can we stop saying that we're fine for midfielders. Dreadful, the lot of them. Just keep on playing 5-yard passes to the next guy and hope that he does something.
  12. Last night? That's quite healthy although there won't be any catering revenue etc. It could be quite important for the smaller clubs if the likes of Hibs and Aberdeen bring bigger away team demand for PPV. Any Celtic or Rangers games not chosen by Sky would also be big.
  13. Do we have any figures yet on how many people are paying to watch games just now? There will be some who won't because it's not the same as going to the game. Maybe more away fans though? For example, did more Killie fans pay-per-view last night than would usually go to Dingwall on a Wednesday night?
  14. He's WAY better than Brian Graham. Big Ross is all about substance over style. And I thought Hearts had lost £10m by being relegated?
  15. Let's go with calling it after 4 rounds of fixtures. Go out with a bang - most exciting week ever in Scottish football
  16. Or do we gamble on one more round of fixtures and see how things look on Wednesday?
  17. County's 'Ross's only' signing policy getting a lot of love on Twitter. https://twitter.com/G4rve/status/1289862988015403008?s=20
  18. Maybe we just find it hard it to believe that it was Martin Woods spraying some of these passes to Schalk.
  19. Schalk and Vigurs together? Could have been a thing of beauty right enough but don't think it ever happened?
