  1. Bit bold of the manager to stay 4 up front when 2-1 up and 3 mins to play? Ach well. These things happen.
  2. Hint of the old Airdrie, there. Two shots on goal and two goals for the opposition, and another one from a set play. Make no mistake, Clyde have stolen a point.
  3. Aside from the early chances which were hidden off camera and hence not seen, Airdrie have been huffing and puffing a bit struggling to break the Clyde block. Feel we could do with finding a bit more width from Watson & MacDonald to stretch and let Easton & Frizzell do their thing.
  4. So Brody Patterson, a left full back, comes in. Presumably this lets Watson move back to centre half, with Macdonald at right back, and put McCabe into the midfield?
  5. For the avoidance of doubt the quote in my post is a direct lift from the “Lanarkshire Live” article.
  6. Noticed this too... also noticed that he referenced that he was made to feel that "his skin didn't fit" and mentioned that he couldn't fail to take notice of what was said on social media. Yet again the minority are being made to represent the views of the general support, and I certainly don't like it.
  7. Just read on Wisden that it Gary Kirsten comes in and coach he would bring in Vince to the team and stick with him. Not the type of backwards thinking you'd be looking for as the ECB, I'd think.
  8. Thats the worst collapse of the series for me. So for the WIndies series, England need at least one opener (presumably Crawley will get a slot), a number three, Root stays at four, Stokes fitness at five?, possibly a new no 6 unless they persevere with Pope but Bairstow will probably stay, and question marks over the wicket keeper - presumably Billings now ahead of Foakes in the pecking order. Will Anderson and Broad be seen again?
  9. Falkirk's highlights give a better angle. Looks like he shoulders it in. Airdrie's third goal is absolutely calamitous. Junior standard of defending from the biggest team in League One.
  10. Saw excerpts of it on twitter. I know they’ll just jump on the next British driver with the most points but it’ll be a welcome change when Lewis does go and they have to stop the broken record. Aston Martin looking like the first team to unveil their car on 10th Feb. Will be interesting to see how “closed door” closed door testing is, and how much access the media have to the event… will the results and lap times be released?
  11. Typical Airdrie: good goals - the second goal was just glorious to watch & terrible defending from set plays. Nervy finish but always good to get one over on them. Thistle will be a real acid test for this group, admittedly still light in a few positions, but the magic of Easton & intelligence of Frizzell could make it a really good game next week.
  12. As far as I’m aware it’s a guy with a laptop watching the footage and controlling the view.
  13. See McInroy is still listed on the squad page. Hopefully not all hope lost yet.
  14. The developer, from testifying that they came from small, independent roots seem to have taken the same track as every other dev and released games full of bugs and UI horrors. That said, try and ask a question about it and the head honcho denigrates and blocks you on social media, and the Mods on their boards are less than helpful. After guiding Airdrie to the League Cup in Season 1 I've totally gone off the cliff with FM this year. Haven't played it since the start of December and don't really have an appetite to pick it back up again.
  15. The obvious remedy for McInroy going back to his club is for McCabe to step forward, and slot Josh Kerr in as the centre half. Got a bit of a worry that Falkirk are on the comeback trail. I mean how long can their banter years keep going on? Score draw.
  16. Really enjoyable first half. Good, well taken goals. Will be a shame to lose McInroy even though he was effectively marked out the game today. Just goes to show that you might take one of our midfield four out the game but the other three will take you to the cleaners.
  17. Ayr seem to be close to appointing Lee Bullen, U23 coach at Sheff Wed. Hopefully can put the Murray chat to bed.
  18. Williams' agreement with Precision Hydration ended today, freeing up space for a new 'Energy Drinks' partner. Rich Energy anyone? Only 51 days to go until Barcelona testing. Ferrari (lauded to be the front runner in new development) unveil their cars between 16th & 18th Feb. I can't wait.
  19. Not to crawl too far up yer ring, Jan, but I did fire a comment into the Falkirk thread telling them to take a look and see how to do it properly.
  20. Any ITK's confirm whether we're still running this hybrid setup? A lot of interviews refer to "coming in on Tuesday and Thursday" which suggests its just back to part time which makes a lot more sense for us, surely.
