I wouldn't be surprised of either. Watson doesn't play again. Or He comes back for 3 or 4 games before getting injured again with an Ian Murray time frame of 2 weeks until hes back never to be seen again. Basically we need another defender, ideally a full back that can play either side but I'd be happy with O'Reilly who has more goals than a few guys who play further forward than him.

Nothing much went well for Easton today. Hamilton worked hard but again didn't work out don't know if he's unhappy or not. In terms of big Kev I don't know if Murray saw it as too important a game to chuck McNeil straight into.

The thing with Murray is he's always trying to play his best players from the start. The problem is we are shoehorning forwards into midfield and midfielders into defence we've got away with it fir a while but it's getting to a crucial point in the season now people are working us out. The 11 best is rarely the best 11. I don't t for the life of me know why Matthews isn't getting minutes, or McGill for that matter. Yes the guy has range to his game but his natural position is in midfield, I'd say he's deserving match time. I'd also like to touch on Jack Hamilton briefly, he scored a great strikers goal yesterday but he wasted easier chances and not for the first time. His scoring return has been a little underwhelming so far which is a shame because he does a power of work when he plays and is a stuck on starter for me maybe it's a confidence thing?

It's a new year game so there will be a healthy crowd full of optimism for the new year (pished) but both teams are coming into the game on the back of mixed form. Both reams have just surrendered 2-0 leads as well so I think it could be a very tense game and wouldn't be surprised with it ending a low scoring affair.

I think the Partick game was the first sign of it, losing 3 goals at home but getting the win you can overlook. Then we grab a win at Arbroath on a shite night before the win in Dundee. Since then we have had 2 poor performances at home despite scoring 6 goals we've conceded some absolute shockers and today at least thrown away 2 points.
