  1. On another note, it's so refreshing having a thread with morton fans without Virginton stinking it out. Well done that mod. Has he been binned? I thought the phantom goal was a goal at the time replay isn't whole conclusive. First penalty is a dive. 2nd penalty is a stonwaller. It was a difficult game to referee, amazed we never saw a red.
  2. Last week they cameras facing the fans for the equaliser, hopefully same this week because it was a great roar as the 3rd went in. There may also have been a great big "get it roond ye" from the back of the South stand.
  3. Watched Murrays interview, thought he was absolutely spot on with everything he said, felt he was very diplomatic in fairness.
  4. Big Kev should have done more with the first goal he looked limp wristed, also he made a mess of coming off his line 2nd half where he wiped out Watson. I think he needs some coaching and time with 2 bruising experienced centre half's then he'll be fine. Scott Brown and Byrne in fairness absolute revolations when they came on. It was a difficult game for Easton to get a foothold in today and completely get why he was hooked. Vaughan is in danger of getting a reputation as a moaner who looks for everything and go's over easily, not just from today's showing. Jack Hamilton got his goal hopefully first of many but still not quite fit enough. Callum Smith has worked his arse off the last few games and took his goal so well today absolute pleasure to see in the South stand.
  5. So highlights for me were, Dougie Imrie's golf club shite tan chinos. Jamie MacDonald going full Dr Evil, beast of a penalty save mind. The absolute piece of filth that was Ethan Ross changing direction in the Morton box before the penalty. The girfuy at the third goal.
  6. In terms of the railway stand the "derelict" southern end has been there since the 80s, the singing bit was put on in the late 90s when the other stands were put upband has been used sparingly in that time. I don't think there were any upgrades completed to it during the redevelopment and as such it's a 40 odd year old structure that's been poorly maintained for at least half it's life. That said I don't think it would take a massive amount of work to pull out the concrete floor and change the purpose ie: safe standing. The thing is though any investment in the ground needs to see some kind of return such as a dual purpose the community can use or if we start selling out every game which didn't happen even in the glory days, apart from when the bigots were in town.
  7. Coming up from England on Saturday for this game. Are there any major roadworks going on that would delay you coming in from the M74?
  8. Wonder of this signing spells bad news with Matthews? Either way we now have the ability in midfield at least and when they are all fit to swap out an entire system or keep the same system but swap out ineffectual personnel. It was what Ian Murray talked about in the Dundee game back in January, we were on top for 60 minutes but they had run capacity to make effective changes and it turned the game.
  9. If you want electric it currently comes with a premium especially new. In terms of a used buy its a bit of an unknown as we have minimal knowledge of how the battery holds up. I cynically think of it this way if you had a smartphone more ethan 3 years How often were you charging it by the end?
  10. It is and it looks fucking awesome doing it. If I were to win the euro millions I'd pump a wedge into the club to bring back that badge and white shorts and socks.
  11. How can I put this diplomatically ? Jags reliability is non existent and you will want to drive it into a wall, if the fucking thing actually drives.
  12. Just seen the highlights there, I don't think anyone who paid into to that game can complain about not being entertained. Rovers started sharply but looked really slack and a bit lethargic in the first half, wtf is going on with the first goal? Nobody is tracking their man. As for up front raith looked good in spells I wouldn't call the missed chances "sitters" but to not even get them on target is poor. 2nd half rovers looked better and when Ethan Ross came on he looks like a new player. Caused problems and put a shift in was even tracking back in one clip. I'll get pelters here but that's not Eastons goal it's an OG, the defender puts it past the keeper and completly changes the direction of the shot. Mitchell has taken a good strikers goal there in a nice position and totally unmarked again great footwork and effort from Ross to put in a dangerous ball.
  13. If that's what we get then that's a massive hand grenade into the team selection for Murray.
  14. I'm sure there will be a lengthy post mortem in training on Monday.
  15. It is interesting that Masson has had no game time even with McGill struggling at RB. I wonder if Murray still has night terrors from that Dundee game? Arnott should be getting a chance as well given our 2 DMs have missed the entire pre season and league Cup.
  16. For those at the game, how did Vaughan play? I might be in the minority here but I don't know how effective he is in the system with the other personnel we have. I'm as big a fan as anyone but its almost like hes trying too hard at times. when BrownMatthews return someone has to drop out.
  17. We desperately need a holding midfielder if we are too have any chance of this formation being successful. We also need to sort out the full back situation. Great to see Ross come on and be so effective and well done to Mitchell getting that goal he has been after for so long.
  18. Wasn't at the game, but can well imagine the limbs. Feels like a win more than a draw.
  19. Has Corr knackered himself today and the physio has slapped a boot on him straight away.
  20. If I could watch any game from the past it would be this one. Pretty much every goal is a screamer, the passing and general play is amazing and it was the dawn of an absolute roller coaster of an adventure.
  21. Anybody know if the k107 sport show is coming back? It's been handy for those of us who live away from Fife.
  22. It's an interesting listen, he was an absolute class act on the park his performance and goal in that Dunfermline match was something else. Clearly a switched on guy as well because he saw straight through "Big Dunc" in record time as well.
