I was disappointed with the performance last night. For majority of first half i.e 15 minutes-45 I thought we were really poor. 2nd half we were better but still very average and as has been the norm at times especially last season just not clinical infront of goal. At this level if we continue like that we wont be qualifying for anything. Hopefully it was just a bad night and to have a bad performance and still get a draw is a step up. I was just hoping for more and maybe thats a good sign. We didnt prove anything last night and the games with Redbull will be tough I think. Got to get at least 4 points of RB and beat Shaktar to have any chance of 2nd. Id accept 3rd and a run in europa. The game against Madrid it felt like we left everything on the pitch, last night felt far from that and maybe thats why it was so disappointing. Onwards and upwards though, one game at a time.

Just read and reminded that all previous games have gone the way of the home team, so tonight to get a draw at least or hopefully even a win. A sign of stepping up. One game at a time though. Tonight is big in terms of where we can qualify.

Drive with Ryan Gosling and Cary Mulligan. I had watched a bit of it before but never got into it This time though I really enjoyed it. Gosling and Mulligan had a good chemistry. The dialogue at times is sparse but that gives you time to really watch the expressions and Mulligan is so good. The supporting cast is really strong too. Byran Cranston from breaking bad is good as is Perlman from sons of anarchy but I thought the guy playing the main Jewish Gangster was the best, he played it with a nice understatement. He had that moments in scenes where it was open enough to make you wonder what he meant by his expression and acting. Its well filmed, theres a hint of Miami Vice at times and MIchael Mann. Very enjoyable watch

What did Stewart Lee say to wind Gervais up? I hadnt heard much Stewart Lee comedy until recently when I saw a docu he did on this brummie band which was excellent. His standup is excellent too. Though Gervais is still funny at times also. Hes not a real standup imo
