  1. Can see a draw today. We're horrific in must win games and I think Dunfermline would be happy not to lose. Looking forward to it though. Can't beat a big crowd .. changes the atmosphere so much.
  2. This is where I am too. I think we'll comfortably make the playoffs but even I'd we didn't somehow manage that I'd still give McGlynn another season
  3. I still like Nesbitt. Morrison infuriates me far more. We're going to make the playoffs this season and once you're there it's very winnable. I could easily see us sneaking up via that route. It's an abysmal standard of league though this season. Dunfermline are garbage and they're going to stroll it. I think we should be doing better. Results haven't been good enough. If you were grading McGlynn I'd say B- just now.
  4. I hate our plastic pitch. I'd love to see grass down again. I know it's possible to play decent football on artificial surfaces but I think it encourages the slow laborious shit we so often see. Definitely agree that we're in a better place with the running of the club compared to previous years but we are still miles away from where we need to be on the park which is really depressing
  5. Yep. It's not really this game in isolation. It's been a run of really poor form. We need to freshen the squad in January and it seems we will not be able to. Some of our passing is so pedestrian and decision making is so poor. We are a brutal watch the now.
  6. Sean Mackie is maybe this season's biggest disappointment. First couple of games I thought we had a gem. Alas..no.
  7. Absolutely no idea how this is only 2-0. Could be 6.
  8. Feared the worst after that utter minter of a first paragraph. But a decent update all things considered. Lots of useful information and some pretty encouraging stuff on the financial side. We seem duty bound to insert something fucking ridiculous into each of these statements though. Might want to reflect on that. Does no one sense check them?
  9. Think this is right. The court decision seems reasonable but it does mean there has to be an alternative, whether a General Election majority triggering a ref or something else. Can't just be 'nah, sorry'
  10. Absolutely shite. Disappointing that as well as going 7 points behind there were a good few fans there today that could have been teased back to a few more games this season if we'd played well. Don't think that will be happening if that's all you'd seen of us this season.. Rancid.
  11. Shitey first half... don't look like losing, don't look like winning
  12. We've fucking earned this after the last few seasons...
  13. Unbelievable crowd for this.. League One.. can't wait. Fancy us to nick it 2-1.
  14. Thought the podcast was excellent. Really well explained and an enjoyable listen. Our model isn't very complicated and it's not a dark art. Not sure who they think we can sell though.
  15. Amidst the grim PR disaster it's good we have a juicy game to get our teeth into. Feels like we've hit a right good spell of form so hope we can carry that on.
  16. Where are the Rawlins in all of this? Are they essentially absent with their current investment pretty much written off?
  17. This is what I'm bemused by. Exactly why are we about to 'run out of cash'? What forecasting was done on income that, in fecking September, not after a hard winter, we're fucked? I get that it's really difficult to put a decent team on the park with the dross we had, plus recruit a new management team, but this looks like Sevco type planning.
  18. It reads as pure Tory. This is the kind of w**k the Daily Fail churns out. 'Millionaires are paying more than you in tax.. How's that fair? Can't you peasants take on a 4th job to start pulling your weight?' It's completely irrelevant whether 10 fans have paid 20 quid or 200 grand each. How dare they imply families worried if they can pay a mortgage and a fuel bill aren't giving enough to an entertainment industry. Irresponsible tone deaf Truss-esque gibberish.
  19. Absolutely disgusting communication. What are these clowns up to?
  20. There's many things I am not surprised to read on this thread but comparing Alegria to Ally McCoist is fucking wild. And as a child of the 80s Ally McCoist wasn't criticised regularly at all. The Buns fans adored him. Because he scored 1,690 goals a season.
  21. Thought that was much better today..but hard to overstate how bad Peterhead are. Came at a really good point in the season as had we lost heavily to a decent team again confidence would have been totally shot. Well done team and McGlynn..can only beat what's in front of you and this was a credible performance. Onwards and upwards..huge game next weekend now to see if this is something we can build on or just beating up on a Junior side.
  22. Me too. I think Nesbitt is the best of the bad bunch. Morrison the poorest. I have no idea how Oliver isn't starting instead of Alegria. Bizarre selection. He's not great but I'd far rather have his workrate up there than Morelos' latte fetcher.
  23. I specifically said exactly that. He's become an accepted better option than Nesbitt purely because he hasn't played. Now he may very well be better than Nesbitt but thar jury has to be out until he proves it. That's the point. We have raw unproven options to replace Morrison, Oliver, Alegria and Nesbitt. Now all 4 are shite so there's a good chance the new signings will be an improvement but that's very much unproven until we see them deliver. They might be worse.
