Matty Todd produced one of the biggest shitebag performances I’ve ever seen at EEP when we lost at home to Falkirk a few seasons ago. He’ll have to have improved a lot to be anywhere near our first team.

I emailed DAFC to ask if they were against the proposals and I am concerned by the non-answer I received in reply.

Good to hear Dow is only weeks away rather than months. Will be interesting to see how quickly he gets back up to speed. I know he’s only 30 but that’s a long lay-off for a winger. A total nonsense. What I don’t understand is why do the clubs keep agreeing to chat about it? They’ve said no time and time again - tell them to GTF and stick it in the bin for good.

Have emailed the club again, just to make sure they’re still dead against this. As I’m sure is the case for many folk, I’d be done with Scottish football if this was allowed to happen. Bad enough the Lowland League killing their credibility forever.

The Lowland League clubs that greedily gobbled up the bribe should be starved of cash for ever more tbh. As should any SPFL club that votes in favour of this nonsense.

I’m not surprised by the OF trying to push this over and over again. They are the only ones who will benefit from it. However, when the fans have said no over and over again, it is beyond a joke that the other 40 clubs even agree to listen to their proposals. We don’t want it, under any circumstances.

Kinda want Currid to sign purely so he can be given the nickname “Korma” as he’s not quite Currie.

That’s a pity as I’ve been a fan of his for a while. Would have loved to have seen him at EEP and we are choking for midfielders. As you say, a no brainer for him if he can get his future secured for three years in the current environment.

Exactly. We have plenty forwards, we could never afford him, even if he was getting out of his Reading deal and surely he’d have much better options available to him? Guessing he’s maybe pals with Deniz from United and they just fancied watching a game.

Interesting. Wouldn’t have thought of Thomas playing in the middle but I suppose needs must. McNulty would obviously be a fantastic signing but clearly not happening for a number of reasons.

Are Cove part-time? They must be absolutely chucking the cash to sign that pair on three-year deals.

OFW was the only goalie at the club so a keeper was always gonna come in.

I must be getting old as I don’t recognise half the folk getting signed and they’ve apparently played in lower leagues for years.

Hasn’t really played enough to make a fair judgement tbh although I don’t think he needs to be incredible to be a better option than OFW. Probably about the best we’re going to do with the budget.
