Unfortunately Bartley seems to prefer Paul McKay to Ambrose (did against Annan anyway) so your tactic may/probably will pay off,  assuming Brydon is not yet fit that is.

Brydon going to be out for a few weeks.

Can only see a heavy defeat for Queens .

Will go with a back 7 for this not even try to win the game wonder who Bartley will blame this week .

Falkirk unbeaten after Ssturday it will be defeat number 15 for us .

Has he been sacked yet? If not, why not.

He will not get sacked .

The board are taking the easy option of not doing anything as they are all leaving.

If as expected the board do nothing then they as much to blame as Bartley for letting him continue as manager .

We will go down with Bartley it is his fault we have to many nice players who don't like the physical side of the game .

Annan never played us off the park they just had players who had more desire to win the ball .

He mentions Jack Brydon in his interview  who again is going to be out for weeks just goes and heads it away why did he not sign more payers like him.

Ok McKechnie. So insignificant in his impact I forgot his surname. Don’t agree on Mumbongo imho our best player in the first half, full back should have cut out the cross. 2nd for my angle the mess could have come from anyone in defence. Yes rotten all round

Mumbongo was playing wing back he should have cut out the cross.

Defence not a fault for 2nd 100% Stone when you come off your line like that you must be certain of getting the ball he made it easy for the Annan player to score

We still should have had enough to come back in the 2nd half but we offered nothing   if anything Annan should have added more goals

Was Stone not badly at fault for Annan's second goal?

Well just in the house. That was horrible. Some terrible tactical decisions today. Leaving Efe on the bench if fit and playing McKay was suicidal as we again conceded 2 well worked but simple headers. Substituting probably one of our best players in Mumbongo for the ineffectual McAnespie was another. Only pass marks today for Stone, Connelly, Reilly and Mumbongo. The rest can gtf with Bartley. A truly shocking result for us. In saying that well done Annan. Stronger, more skillful and should have won by more. Can someone talk me through Ferguson…empty jersey every week.

Mumbongo at fault for the 1st goal did nothing now i see why Hamiltons fans said he was a very poor signing .

Stone only he will no why he thought he could get anywhere near  the cross for the  2nd goal very poor 100 % his fault .

Nobody got pass marks today .

A part time Annan side with Wullie Gibson running the show really deserved to win by more we have nothing no idea what we do all week in training

Neil Warnock available again I believe.  could offer it to him until end of the season (assuming Dan doesn't want it).

Not really in the mood for jokes .

Have said for months Bartley will take us down our season  hit a new low today .

At any other club he would have been sacked weeks ago we now can' t wait for the board change to get rid

I would certainly like to see Mumbongo start, we need a physical presence up front to stand up to Annan's usually physical ( aka clogging) defensive style.

First look at Mumbongo last week did not look good against the physical Stirling defence.

Doherty might be a option but is he injured not involved last week

I know there isn’t a hope in hell we could put the team below on the park, what with injuries and an inept/incompetent manager but it’s the one I’d like to see tomorrow. At least we could possibly see some attacking intent.

    Stone

    Brydon, Ambrose, McClelland, Kilsby

    Gibson, Todd, Ferguson/Cochran, Connelly.

    Reilly, Mumbongo

I’m sure marvellous Marv will have been studying our opponents thoroughly all week with the analysis of their various phases of play and transition from defence to attack, etc, etc. He’ll no doubt field a team in personnel and shape nothing like the above.

We all know Annan will be right up for this with quite a few of their players out to prove a point. That being said and with the motivation Bartley seems to get into his Queens team I can see nothing other than a home win here.

At least the forecast is for it to stay dry. With the way our season has gone it’ll be interesting to see how many we take to Galabank, I’m expecting our numbers to be down on our last visit.

We will go with a back 7 try and try and scramble a draw .

Would like us to take the game to Annan but that is not going to happen .

The current Queens Board of Directors should not be waiting for new candidates to come to them, mainly because that means that they might miss out on the right person(s). Therefore, they should also be proactive in approaching those individuals that have been identified (if any) as suitable candidates.

Queens current shareholders should form a nominating committee, or appropriate recruitment body for Queens organisation needs, they will have been tracking suitable candidates, and should share their research and confirm the Board’s requirements as they conduct the process.  This will obviously help them target those who could be a perfect fit.

Perhaps a National advert to attract more interest?

I am a shareholder was surprised at the AGM that our departing board can get whoever they want to run the club we have no say on who they appoint .

We just have to hope they get it right .

Ah come on, that's unduly harsh. Milne wins the ball TWICE for the first Albion goal. Cooper, on the other hand, was completely anonymous when he came on. Was anonymous against Hamilton too. I like him, but he's not a CM and McPake is better than him on the left.

McPake was the best player on the park.

You can see he has real quality something we don't have

Listen - Queens are the bigger club, full time, beat us 3 times already this season. Are you worried ?

Never thought I would say this but Annan must be huge favourites. We are the bigger full time club  but that   means nothing if you have a clueless manager and players who are not up for the fight to stay up .

That is how low this season has  got worried about going to Annan expecting to get nothing.

  11. Queens are heading for the relagation playoffs.

Annan are on the up they have  more heart and desire than us will go to win the game .

We will be without our 2 best centre backs Goss will win everything in the air .

Bartley is clueless as a manager should have been sacked months ago.

Tinpot is the phrase you're looking for. This is QoS after all so no surprises in that.

No way all the board would quit if they did not have a few offers to choose from for a new board.

Right  now all I am concerned about is staying in League 1 made all  the more difficult with Bartley in charge till the end of the season .

All I ask is we have a go not play the 7 -2 -1 .

Go 4-3 -3  actually have a go trying to win a game of football .

I’m looking forward to my first visit to Palmerston.

What I saw on Tuesday night against Hamilton was a team playing with confidence. Add to that the new loan signing and we have a really strong midfield and good cover in all areas.

I think it could be a narrow win for the Binos 2-1

We have a weak midfield will probably set up 7 -2 -1  .

If me I would go 4-3-3 take the game to Stirling but then I am not a football manager like Marvin is supposed to be.

  14. Before any new board we must stay in League 1.

Bartley saying we have had the worse injury list in the League hence our low position The news of the board  leaving did not leave much time for Bartley but as I thought he spoke very well you almost thought he was a good manager .

What worrys me is we definitely have Bartley till the end of the season it is as if he does not realise how serious our situation is .We are somehow going to stay  full time next season but with huge  cuts.

This shows what a arse Bartley has made of this he has been  working with a Championship budget yet somehow has signed a very poor squad that will struggle to keep us on League 1

But it still requires the cash to do the ditching now, and choosing the option that fans don't like still wouldn't actually be 'dereliction of duty' as board directors.

Think going to be a very interesting shareholders meeting on Wed. night .

The board and Marvin Bartley will surely get some difficult questions the problem is our manager talks a very good game that is what he is best at.

If only we could find a Dougie Imrie type he  has players that would run through a brick wall for him.

His contract length wasn’t disclosed in the tweet announcing him but you’d think so. Would be happy with McCall, been saying for a few months he’s who I’d want.

Definitely a 2 and half year contract.

Even if we limp to 8th place and we sack him he will still over a year to go .

Going to cost a huge lump sum to get rid of him but we can't let him assemble another poor squad like this .

Iain McCall is my favourite for the job but would he take it with the changes that we will have to make

On the full  time thing does it make a difference .

We have played many part time teams better organised and just as fit as us .

Yep it’s time to go Marvin. You should’ve been binned after Kelty defeat let’s be honest.

But he’ll probably say he’s not that type of guy and fight until the end. There’s nothing he can do now though, over 90 per cent of fans want a change.
I hope supporters at the AGM don’t hold back.

It’s not worked and I can’t be bothered with the usual and expected comments from players coming out saying they’ll fight for the manager.

The damage is done. The way we set up last night in a “must win” game was embarrassing.

Have a bloody go! Maybe with the position we’re in now, we will.

At the AGM Bartley will do what he does best talk a good game.

Massive gamble keeping Bartley in the hope that  Queens can stay up .

Sadly, unless there's a change soon, the way things are going then typing League 2 might not be an error for Queens fans in the near future.

Bartley will take us to the relagation playoffs.

How the board cannot see that I have no idea.

Now down to 700 odd fans what a disaster.

We should sack Bartley now but any new manager has a massive job trying to get our very poor squad to win games of football .

Enough is more than enough. The Bartley experiment clearly has not worked, and the board should accept this and move on. The club should be able to afford this due to the six month payout clause. Resigning to league one football is going to happen very soon…

Bartley has close on 18 months left on his contract think wishfull thinking that some think we could get away with paying him just  6 months wages to get rid .

The board should look at tonight's crowd .only 724 most fans have now gave up .

  20. 20 minutes ago, Kunter said:

Nothing as it's the AGM next week and if he sacks him they'll be no one to do the talky bits.

Bartley will still talk his way out of  it at the AGM that is one good thing he can do .

He should have been sacked months ago if we let this go on we will be playing League 2 football next season .
