  1. That was 2  very poor teams neither deserved to win .

That was as poor as i have seen Alloa against us a half decent Queens team would have got us the win but sadly we are miles away from that .

Plenty of effort but you just need that bit of quality  that sadly we don't have .

Hutchinson is a good example trys hard but he is miles away from the quality  we need.

What Marv sees in him I have no idea.

  2. I always thought Cove had a big money backer that was why they went completely full time .

Does your squad have many part time players .

I really wish Queens would try a mix of full and part time players right now we are going nowhere being completely full time .

Most part time players make more with a job than any of our full time players.

Yeah i think there's a good reason you've not read anything positive about Mumbongo think you could have picked a random QOTS fan to sign and they could do a better job than Mumbongo.

Is Mumbongo that bad .He came on for you at Palmy looked decent.

Big strong had bit of pace or am I trying to convince myself he has all these assets.

Thought the deal would go through today so maybe not happening now.

Another undefeated December - Imrie has never lost a league game in this month.

Looking at the form table for the last 10 games, we're somehow in third behind Dundee Utd and Raith Rovers. It's a close league and we've done well to get ourselves back in the mix.

More impressive is conceding only 8 goals in those last ten games, second only to Utd. We've been pretty solid since Mullen went back in goal and three clean sheets on the bounce is a good reward, especially with a fourth only denied by a meaningless injury time goal in a game already won against Caley.

Curious to see what January brings. Would like to keep Wilson and Strapp for the rest of the season, though don't know how likely the latter is. The Wilson one is unusual - seen as a fairly underwhelming loan at the start of the season. That likely justified being able to leave QoS for a higher league with little expectation of playing a key role, but he has been playing well lately and is a decent, though unremarkable, championship midfielder - something QoS would surely want.

A fit Iain Wilson would get in most Championship teams midfield.

The loan is due to end we can recall him it would be like a new signing but I don't think he wants to come back does not get on with Bartley think he will stay with you

  5. We never do well against Alloa .

We will have at least 5  players out for this. Reilly will be a huge miss our main goal threat .

Maybe Marv will add quality to the squad this week highly unlikely as his recruitment has been very poor so far.

  6. It is a massive blow to have Reilly out for a few weeks yet another added to our long injury list .

Our only real goal threat has gone no way Doherty or Hutchinson will step up both are on the Marv list of very poor signing yet have 2 year deals.

Marv going to add to the squad no doubt it will be boys on loan with no experience.

    Mission accomplished

Marv game plan nearly worked play for a boring  draw make no attempt to win the game.

I would rathe we had a go but Marv wil no doubt say he got everything right but some player did not do his job at the goal .

He is,never wrong if we make the playoffs  i will be amazed .

Hope Bartley got a new coaching manual for Christmas. Don't know what's involved in his current training regime but it doesn't appear to be working. Does he run them into the ground every day? Never known a squad to have as many injuries picked up at training. Friday seems a popular day for tweeks, twinges and pulls! Thought it was usually a day for tactical side and working on set pieces.

Training should be intense like playing a game  every day .

No point having non contact just running all the time .

Injuries are just bad luck look at McKay he just opened up to shoot on Friday hurt his hamstring things like that happen .

We can only hope that a good few of those "thrown under the bus" would choose to leave. I doubt an experienced pro like Efe will be swayed by who our manager is and what he says about them. If he moves on he'll move for good reason (money).

Efe has been friends with Marv for years he certainly will not move away because of him .Efe lives 10 mins away from where we train so unless he gets a crazy offer from Cove to move to Aberdeen then we should still be able to offer him a decent deal to keep him till the end of the season .

For me he could take on the reserve manager job he has so much experience to pass on to the young players

It was another game between two poor sides, but with 3 very good goals. From the terrace I was convinced it should have been an Annan penalty late on, but I also thought we had a good shout for a penalty in the first half for handball given that the hand was above head height. Thought Church and then Todd both did very well out of position at CB. Our midfield was very poor, McKay and Cochrane were both missed in there.

It was a really poor game Annan are a big physical team at times we struggled with that .

Our midfield at times gave Gibson far to much time on the ball we really missed Cochrane and McKay .

We won the game scoring 2 really good goals could not really care how we played all that matters is the result .

Did not see any close pen calls for either team the ref had a decent game got most things right .

I don't think you fully appreciate our present standing in Scottish Football. Even if there is a massive overhaul from the top down, and serious investment made, it'll take a decade to build the club back up to anything like top of Championship level.

All depends on how much  investment sadly not looking likely to happen .

It was around 4 years ago we beat Raith in the playoffs to stay in the Championship look at both clubs now.

We have the same potential as Raith we could treble our crowds with a decent team in the pitch but right now 900 odd at a home League game will not support full time football much longer .

  12. We made very hard work of that what a relief when McGuffie scored .

We started well got a good early goal from Reilly looked like we would score more then Cochrane got injured .

Todd would have been a straight swap but on came McKechnie we changed formation.

We still had chances but we were not controlling the game in midfield .

2nd half not as good Edinburgh had the wind Stone misjudged a long ball goal .

Then a superb Gibson goal cut in from the wing beat 2 men hit a brilliant shot into the top corner  .

Then as the game went on still at 2 -1 Edinburgh started to try and push for another goal we got nervous but to our credit we managed to get a good 3rd goal .

It's pretty disappointing to have lost the goal mind you. An incredible result though and hopefully not another mini false dawn.

I take it you are joking about losing a goal .

Brilliant result never seen that coming still can't believe we scored 4 goals be lucky in most games to have 4 shots .
