  1. Thought at the time it was a stonewaller but having seen a replay, now think the referee got it correct
  2. Comes across as a really mature guy and speaks well for somebody so young. Can’t begin to imagine what it’s been like for him
  3. Thought at the time Matthews showed too much of one side and whilst I still think that’s the case, I’m not sure it’d have made much of a difference. Some hit
  4. I was that cold tonight I had my first ever ‘Killie Pie’. I approve.
  5. James Brown took the phrase having one to a new level
  6. Just throw the Bournemouth 9-0 in and you’re fine. Sound logic really.
  7. Michael Owen is fucking insufferable. Rio Ferdinand isn’t much better.
  8. What a mad season the Cummins one was - knocked out of Europe by Alashkert, beat Rangers at Ibrox, won 5-1 at Pittodrie, set a club record for consecutive away wins in the top flight, went 7 games without a win (which ended up being 1 win in 11), then got 13 points from 15 post split having only just made the top six. Bring it back. The performance in the 3-3 was phenomenal, first half in particular. O’Halloran was excellent.
  9. First game I’ll miss this season - god curse Sky. I’ve never been at a game in which we’ve beat Celtic though, so every cloud…
  10. The potential for Matthews to be recalled is an interesting one and something that hadn’t even crossed my mind. The first time in at least 10 years that we’ve had to recruit a number 1 and thus far, I feel we’ve got it spot on
  11. This team actually has a bit of personality too. Mitchell and McGowan in particular look as though they’d run through brick walls for the club - which is always pleasing.
  12. Dundee United - oh dear. Nice possession that makes it look like they’re dominating the game - but in reality there’s no chance of creating anything. Strong St. Johnstone 21/22 vibes about it. Saints were totally comfortable, Callum might actually have played that perfectly - albeit the game plan doesn’t actually change.
  13. Did think it was a bit bare and probably could’ve gone in the other Middleton article put out today, albeit that wasn’t written by EN. Is what is it, I guess
  14. Hopefully exactly what Steve Clarke’s doing, and not anything more
  15. Agree with you, but also wouldn’t fault Clarke for feeling the need to change shape. Time will tell but hopefully he sticks
  16. Switching to a back three/five was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the announcement. I like Kingsley, but he looks a lot more comfortable in a three rather than a two, albeit I’ve not seen him in a two many times. Was really confident about this earlier, a lot more apprehensive now
