    Just watched the highlights from the Ayr QP game and I couldn’t help but notice the brutalist monstrosity that is your new stand. I appreciate that it ain’t finished but that thing rivals QP for the worst stand in Scottish football and that’s even without you lot standing in it

    Sorry to intrude but do you lot find parking at the stadium okay? Yesterdays visit to the Falkirk stadium was an absolute shambles with car park entrances being fenced off even though there was plenty of room spaces and stewards screaming at folk

    As much as I would have liked to beat Falkirk in the final, facing TNS definitely added something different to the match. There seemed to be a fair bit of media coverage before and after the game which can only be good for the club. An excellent win for the club which will hopefully give us a real boost heading into the final games of the season. Play offs would be immense!

    Fair fucks to open goal for taking it this far. Something’s clearly working for them although I do think it tends to attract some losers Tam Cowans dated & cryptic patter on Off the Ball and the toe curling scripted jokes on AVFTT make them pretty dull listens. .

    I’ve been fairly critical of our inability to score from corners in recent years but we seemed to be very effective yesterday. There definitely seemed to be to some structure to our corners which ultimately lead to 2 of the goals. Excellent stuff!

    Happy to take the point but so disappointed in that first half performance. We lacked any commitment after going 1 down. I hate to say it but I’d be giving Frizzel a couple of weeks on the bench. He’s been getting away with coasting the game for a few weeks now and we have a much more capable option in Lyall IMO. End of the day, we have a league one squad pushing the boundaries yet again! Nothing lost.

    Parking: plenty of parking in the neighbouring residential streets of Craigneuk and Gartlea. If you fancy a walk then drumgelloch station has an endless supply of parking spaces and is a short 10 minute walk away from the stadium

    I think Gallagher, Todorov and McGill are exceptional league one strikers and would win leagues/promotion for the majority of teams in that league. In the championship however they are average and that’s the difference. They’ll still score goals here and there but they don’t carry the threat that a Dowds, Paton, or Muirhead carry. If we had any one of those names in our team we would be right up there competing IMO. I think we have a championship level keeper, defence and midfield but our forward areas are lacking. I’m not dismissing Gal or Gabby’s contributions over the last few years at all as their numbers speak for themselves. I think at least one of them will be away in the summer for pastures new.

    Ian McMillan was the greatest Airdrieonian. Born and raised just round the corner from old Broomfield and an absolute top player - a huge loss to the town and club RIP
