Feeling positive We have to appreciate the talent we have at present. I think Hancock has been an absolute standout this season and is quickly becoming a favourite player of mine. Buzzing for Ballantyne to come back as I think he’s our best player in all honesty. I suppose him being injured has kept him off the radar this season thankfully. Telfer also excellent this season. Strange but this seems to be his level. Think league one was too scrappy for him.

Raith Rovers v's Airdrie 03/02

It’s not really this game that gives me the fear it’s the inevitable and long overdue 6-0 thrashing that Falkirk will give us should we make the final! -

If the offside is given for McCabe impeding on the partick player’s view/ability to challenge for the ball when that very partick player is the one who makes an attempt to clear it then yes it would be harsh -

You’ll find that your man on the line has no problem shoving McCabe to the ground to then make a feeble attempt at clearing the ball - only to then knock the ball directly to Watson who sweeps it home. Would be a very very very harsh offside -

As others have said a point is probably fair. Thistle came out quickly and were piling on the pressure for a good 15 minutes. We handled it well though and deserved our goal. The equaliser was just classic McCabe thinking he knows everything as per. I didn’t think there was much between the sides whatsoever so that’s a positive. Overall a good game with some good tackles and the weekly dose of shithousery. PS that ref is such a weapon -
Aye, as others have said your comments are misplaced. If you think anyone on here or any Airdrie supporter is actually accepting of that behaviour then you’re miles off it. I hope the absolute scumbags in that video get locked up and banned for life and that anyone hurt recovers without any bother. This thread isn’t the pro-nazi, pro-union, Tory bashing, bottle throwing, flag wanking, section b gloating place that you probably think it is. We just want to chat about our team without constantly having to bat away sweeping accusations against good honest football fans

Fairly even game as I expected. St Johnstone looking fit and sharp but we’ve spooked them a few times. Can see this being decided by one goal.

Nah, the home stand is 1.5x bigger than the away stand. Always gives the impression of being much less populated than the away. Suppose it’s only St Johnstone we’re playing. Crowds usually turn up for the big teams

U try so so hard mate

An absolute classic. Tantalising premiership level football.

I personally don’t think there’s much difference in quality between the top half of the championship and the bottom half of the premiership. As virtually everyone has pointed out, we have performed very well against premiership teams in recent years so I have absolutely no concerns about playing a Craig Levein St Johnstone side. 0-4 St Johnstone win.

If you’re away with your parent club then why on earth would you remove them from your bio if you were still with them? Megwa to Airdrie on a two year deal

The halfway (or slightly beyond) report..
Diamond1924 replied to TxRover's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Raith - Likely winners for me. They’re showing that resilience that you need to win leagues. Dundee United - Very good team with very good players. I just don’t like Goodwin. Partick - Been fairly unimpressed but can appreciate their experience in his league. Airdrie - We’ve held our own so far and have played well at times. Consistency is key and so are goals. Dunfermline - Will be absolutely fine. Good solid team. Morton - Thankfully someone told them that they are allowed to pass the ball to each other instead of blasting it out of the park at any opportunity. Ayr - I thought they were very good against us. High energy and good players. Inverness - honking without Wetherspoon. Arbroath - solid team and they know how to stay up. Gave us a lesson in defending. Queens Park- DOWN. STAY DOWN BOY.
