  1. Was just wondering why they're so angry? Constantly just screaming nonsense abuse at no one in particular.
  2. All that early possession. As usual though, no real shots on goal mustered. How many corners was it as well that were cleared by St. Mirren without any pressure at all.
  3. He was going on at 2-0 like Aberdeen had sealed the victory already..
  4. Quote couldn't be more Davidson though. 0-0 is him feeling ambitious.
  5. Was a slow start for me as well. Then I've really gotten into it. Usually I'll find time to play a game once or twice a week at a push. Lately... Double that so it's grabbed my attention. Probably because I'm willing to see past the fact graphically it's not particularly special at all. Summed up by the fact my 4 year old good for it's time gaming laptop, as laptops go can run it on full spec without any problems. Although you could also say that's a good thing that it's accessible! Enjoying the way they they tie in the "random" encounters into missions and quests etc. The walk here, then do this for 3 mins then walk all the way back somewhat annoying but... Heyho. Probably 70+ hours in. Will probably tie off all story and faction quests and drift away though. Fiddled around with the outposts etc but completing all the research etc wont provide any additional satisfaction for me so can't see myself spending too much time on those kind of things going forward. If I've got the resources to do it... Great, if I don't I'm not going looking for some obscure resource that'll allow me to make fancier decorative outpost stuff
  6. If Wright is out for a long period and he wants to stick to the shape. Exactly like the reasons mentioned above by RG he'll probably need to go out into the free agent market and bring someone in. The difference at the moment between this version of 5 at the back is he is playing attacking winger types on both sides so in possession it could have the potential to be an attacking threat. its also looking like it has the potential to be much more solid with the midfield options in front. Macca isn't leaving playing just 2 in there like Davidson did which often resulted in them being isolated, especially if one was caught a bit out of position or dragged out wide etc. If though you end up with the back 3 offering basically zero in possession as well as the right wing back offering nothing going forward then it simply wont work long term. The right hand side becomes very easy to defend against as we all know watching Brown toil away out there. There's bound to be a few decent free agents out there. Whether they'd fancy Saints and whether we'd have the money to spend is a different question. Any suggestions, anyone?
  7. I'd ran out of my free uses of the Courier but I'd assumed that would have been the case. It's going to end up a midweek night in mid winter now
  8. Sky sports reinventing "history" again I see. While it's not a historic moment to be proud of the Saints Hibs game the day before didn't happen apparently because it wasn't on sky.
  9. Costelloe was absolutely shite against Dundee. I wasn't impressed he even appeared for the second half. Sounds like the pair of them have typical English youth academy syndrome. Horrendous considering it's fucking Burnley as well. He's improved a bit. He works hard but still doesn't look like he could lace the boots of players we've had in the last 10 years. For example pre injury May is 100x the player he is
  10. No one wants to watch football in the wind especially. Ends up just painful viewing. The over reaction by a few when it wasn't initially called off was somewhat over the top though if the pitch and area around stadium is safe then why wouldn't the club think it's going ahead. Fine as well when the emergency service or whoever explained their position and the situation changed. Maybe that conversation could have happened before the initial announcement was made but I'm sure we'll survive. words like "outrageous" being chucked about relax folks.
  11. Is that the reason this game is off though? People if driving from Glasgow to Perth for the game would manage so without much issue. Main roads are fine. I think the reason is more to do with emergency service resourcing. Perth city area isn't too bad but I imagine they're prioritising sending the services to Angus & Dundee to support the worst hit areas and cancelling the game in Perth reduces the potential burden on the already stretched resources. Can't comment on Dingwall's situation. Although if it's not pitch related they shouldn't have waited until today.
  12. So far most of Perth has been relatively lucky compared to an hour up the road. The wind is forecast to calm this afternoon/evening so can't see that causing an issue for the game unless it's done damage to the stadium but surely the stadium won't have been damaged as while it was windy, it wasn't as bad as other areas have faced. It's rained basically constantly and mostly heavily (often torrentially) since during the night Wednesday/Thursday morning. Most of the roads around the stadium will be passable but I imagine the pitch will be waterlogged. It's not forecast to stop raining either that amount of water has nowhere to go.
  13. Yeah I just thought it was worth sharing after I mentioned it then seen his post immediately after. I have my doubts about them both getting game time anyway. If anything one may get the second half. Gunn likely to start you'd think. A step too far away to France friendly or not leaving Gunn out completely with few other senior players are already out or at least a doubt as well.
  14. Could we another keeper given some game time tonight? I doubt from the start though. While I'm not one for capping for the sake of it. IF Gunn gets injured towards the end of the season we could go into the Euros with the only goalkeeping options all uncapped. (if Gordon isn't fit by then) Gunn has done well since coming in, often in games barely tested but looks assured. I also don't think the likes of Clark are anywhere near his level either. Let's just hope he does stay fit!
  15. I'll be astonished if Doak is seriously considered. The fans calling for him is wildly premature. He's NEVER started a league game as a professional footballer and in total in his career has played less than 45 minutes of league football. He's managed a total of something like 250 minutes as a professional. He's just not getting a game very much. No doubt a lot will claim if you're young enough you're good enough but you need to earn a call up and he's not playing enough to merit it. 10 mins here and there in the League don't merit you an international call up never mind a cap for your country. They should not be handed out like that. There's players available who are and should be ahead of him in selection.
  16. If we say it once we'll say it a 1000% times. That's what happens when you've got someone doing the graphic and social media work who has zero clue about Scottish football.
  17. I can imagine working full time then travelling twice a week to wherever they train then having to get up again early for work week after week in the cold winter months all to play at level where he'll get paid nothing to do so would ruin a lot of people's love for the game. Especially if they have young families etc. "Is this really worth it" going through their heads. Easy for the likes of me to say as well that wouldn't ever be good enough to have a chance of playing at that level!
