  1. The Charlatans are legends, never seen them live unfortunately. Missed them last year when they toured. Going to be playing Glasgow, Queen's Park Recreation Ground on the Sunday 30th June. Maybe go along this time.
  2. I actually have zero f***s about Dubai, their preps for this ever happening is zero, so much focus of excess and so much complacency. In the desert with more money than common sense and have never concluded that a storm that occurred in 1949 might just happen again but with a much bigger population and zero place for the water to go, eg. no storm drains. First time I saw pictures of Dubai years ago and the vast speed of development, my first though about it was its built at sea level, this would be a disaster if a hurricane struck the place. Of course experts would claim that this has never happened. I would say yet!! Every now and then nature reminds us that she is in charge, despite our best efforts to control what cannot be controlled.
  3. ok I'll bite. Climate change charlatans?? Does this include the scientists who have proved that the planet warms and cools through natural processes for millions of years and that our world climate is very dynamic?
  4. I might have changed my mind, could be a good game up in Brora.
  5. Of course Dundee have no ambition to finish in an achievable 5th place, but let it be all about Rangers and a blue tinted glasses view point of other clubs ambitions. 3 points tomorrow would see Dundee level on goal difference with St. Mirren and they after the wet wipe showcase last week over the pitch at Dens and Clement's comments on this 'different situation' and that County easily outplayed and beat the mighty Rangers will be highly motivated to pile on more misery. I could argue that Dundee have just as much to play for as Rangers do. 5th place right after a promotion would a tremendous achievment, Rangers finishing 2nd is not an achievement, even if Rangers win the league it will be less of an achievement than if Dundee finish 5th. Funny how after claiming a moral victory last week Dundee are happily living in Clements head rent free. Now we all know Clement is easily rattled.
  6. The Dens pitch is perfect for this game, I don't see why they have a problem with it. Everyone has to play on it during the season twice and its not held back Dundee by any means as their way of football has gained them a top six place. So if the second placed team is good enough then they should have too much for the team in sixth regardless and any excuses are just that.
  7. Never stops amusing me that the biggest group of football supporters in Scotland that make up around maybe 40-45% (maybe more) of the football supporting population feel they are persecuted by the same authorities that over decades has bent over backwards to accomodate them and their gravedancing beliefs much to the disgust and detriment of everyone else? The establishment club selling itself as anti-establishment, anti SFA corruption, and anti anything that denies them an advantage over the other arsecheek including Dundee's pitch, their gormless fanbase completely buying into it. Not one person cares that moving the match to Perth might disadvantage Dundee in some way, its all about Rangers and that buckled entitled, self important view point. Dundee FC's needs reduced to mere indifference and a supporting role in the big movie compared to the main character role in their heads Rangers have in this season's instalment of 'Winning The Title Against All The Odds'. C'mon Dundee (Latest entity to be entered in the little boo book as an enemy of Rangers), finish them off.
  8. Gravedancers under the guise of tradition, some very staunch on the council since 2007. If it has anything to do with the Highlands maybe it would be celebrating one sect of the Christian church over another at the Battle of Culloden I guess, putting down a Catholic rebellion against the King. But this isn't a march for the tourists, these mutants are pretty serious about it. Tourist's maybe amused by it all when they see it but it sends out a message that Unionist flag waving and sectarian bigotry up here in the Highland capitol is tolerated and this is a hardcore unionist city. The elections up here say otherwise. It has been mentioned that these marches have never had any trouble and this is the argument they use against the petition that has been going around to stop the marches. btw are the people on the march from Inverness and the area? I have my doubts. I've lived here all my life and from the photos of marches over the years I don't recognise a single face ever. A few years ago they used to march a street a-way from my house and you could hear the drumming thumping through the air and the ground. My next door neighbours are big Rangers fans and just like a remote control had set them off they switched on and started singing along to the song in their living room the band were playing as they passed by, I was near pissing my breeks laughing. I often hear them watching tv when Rangers are on and I'm sure their usual dose of win on Sat' or Sun' sets them up in a good mood for the rest of the week. Funny though that they have been very quiet and the curtains have been closed since Sunday for some reason. I'm amused with the banners at the game up in Dingwall, I try to look at things in a practical and logical manner. I mean are they fighting to keep their colours? Its very nice they like blue, red, white and black that much and some orange in more recent times that they feel the need lets say to punch someone in the face if that someone steals the red out of their flags, but is someone really trying to take colours away from them? I hope so, these colours also belong to ICT and our club is older than theirs, we were here first and have no connection to this marching tradition crap and the baggage carried by the OF, so suck it up Rangers fans, these are our colours. I'm so pleased for County, I really am.
  9. Rangers supporting work collegues didn't want to talk about it today. I assume this phrase 'I don't want to talk about it'' would be the most used phrased around work places today? Next time I'm in Inverness city center the place should be mutant free of Rangers shirts and training gear for at least a few days. Unfortunately our backwards facing council have approved the Apprentice Boys of Derry march this coming Saturday afternoon. This f***ing place. Sunday also they will be back out in numbers as pubs will be showing the Scottish Cup semi final, just a f****ing bigot fest in Inverness this weekend, make them feel better inside and superior to everyone else again. I'm likely to be going through to Elgin this Saturday for the Elgin v Peterhead game, just get out the place for a day.
  10. Rangers fans were worried after the postponement of going four points behind Celtic by Saturday evening, the terrible advantage Celtic have. Shocking!! All Rangers had to do was turn up for this and the 3 points would have been gift wrapped for them, since County have never beaten them ever and are 2nd bottom of the league, what happened????
  11. Incredible result. It won't do Cowie any harm towards the job becoming his. Plus its made the battle to stay out of 11th far more interesting. As for Rangers, Aye the gift that keeps on giving, moral victory for them that have no morals during the week and today it all ends in karma. They won't understand concept of Karma, just their anger at the poor standard in the team and an overwhelming sense of injustice. Now it is up Dundee and their turnip field to finish them off.
  12. Can't see the Black Isle from the view I have now, completely under a blanket of rain. I would assume that its raining in Dingwall right now. Would Rangers be upset if they found out County haven't got the covers out to protect the pitch from from a wee bit of rain?
  13. The heavy rain not far from Dingwall, could get interesting in the next 24 hours. Showing up on the current weather radar maps. From my view over to the north west of Inverness it looks very dark. Wind is picking up as well.
  14. Dumbarton 3-0 Clyde East Fife 2-1 Bonnyrigg Rose Peterhead 0-1 Forfar Ath. Stenhousemuir 2-1 Elgin City Spartans 3-1 Stranraer
  15. Morton 1-2 Dundee Utd Airdrie 1-0 Dunfermline Ath. Ayr Utd 2-1 Arbroath Queen's Park 1-2 Inverness CT Raith Rovers 2-1 Partick Th.
  16. Now, now can't go about calling them **** any more thay might get offended by what they think you were thinking when you posted that. **** will aways be ****** cabbage ******** with blue and white ******* *** donkey **** sits and ***** on farty couches.
  17. The OF died along with Rangers. This an imposter club, existing to cash in on a gap in the market left by the disaster of 2012 that will alway be remembered and celebrated. The top derby game in Scotland now is in Edinburgh. 10 years ago it was the Highland derby that was box office. Probably take a few years to get back up there again. Probably more chance of us meeting Elgin in the league first before we ever meet County again. Mind you who knows, best we can do is go along and support our teams and live in hope.
  18. In Inverness city center today and the good weather had brought out into the open many members of the armies of darkness. Sad, since I never saw any other football tops or merchandise of other teams. I would figure the same would be in many towns in the north of Scotland including Dingwall and Alness. It was like Inverness had suddenly teleported to the south-west of Scotland. As the only representatives of Highland football in the top flight, County need to stop rolling over for these mutants and finally beat them into that desperate conspiracy meltdown that is just bubbling below the surface in their heads on Sunday afternoon. I was unaware until yesterday that this tragic 20-0 loss stat exists (only 4 draws), it needs to end for the good of Scottish football and Scottish football needs a new chapter for the banter years. Plus I want to see County stay up more than I give a shit about who wins the f***ing title. Jeez, and I mean they greet about standards of other football clubs in the top flight, that is f***ing rich irony coming from them with their track record.
