  3. Our home record is absolutely honking, just 2 wins in 12. 11th November vs Ayr was our last home win in the league. No wonder other team's supporters aren't complaining about the long journey up here anymore. Dunfermline's away form is pretty decent, better than their home form this season which seems to be a thing for most teams in this league. Every game for the last 20 years vs Dunfermline ends up 1-1 and we are the current draw kings in the league. Safe money would be on that very score or a 0-0. The Pars will be on a high due to a little help from the SFA's finest, these breaks don't come often and by the looks of things the Pars needed something to go their way. I'm not convinced they are anything more than as inconsistant as the rest of us 6 teams in the relegation battle so this could go either way depending on which of both teams turns up. I don't think their result against Thistle is a turning point for them, it just means 9th place continues to be a hot plate. Both Ayr and Airdrie need to take their turn. It would actually be typical for them if they were leading against us 0-1 and we end up winning via a couple of dodgy ref decisions, foul in the box on on their goalie not given and a dodgy last minute penalty to us. Maybe a couple of decisons during the game that go our way when we are riding our luck. Is it not supposed to even out over the course of a season?

  7. I would think most people travelling to an away ground would check the matchday ticket price. I checked Partick website and its £22 for the next league home game with Dunfermline no early bird discount. Can't see what your issue is. Maybe ICT shouldn't have an early bird discount and just charge normal price?
  8. Only 8 goals at home this season, lowest in the league vs 21 goals away for Thistle so far, second best. Easy 4-0 to us. We have beaten them 3x 1-0 the last 4 times we have played them at home, be absolutely delighted if this popular score is repeated.

  11. Reasons being noise pollution and loss of green space. I'm calling bullshit on that as most of that area formally used as a golfcourse will surely be used for future housing developments, its prime area for development. A battery farm there just would get in the way. It's naive to suggest that that land will remain an untouched green space, when nearly every green space in the city has been reviewed to value whether or not to flog it off for more houses to be built, including the green spaces on the opposite side of the distributor road, which has been a souce of contention for the residents in the Drakies area of Inverness every time this gets brought up over proposals to develop the land that is supposed to be a buffer between the busy motorway and the houses. It will get brought up again and again until it gets passed. Every f**king piece of green land in and around Inverness is up for grabs and surely there those on the council who are obviously gaining massive financial benefits from those housing developments.
  12. Best so far is not difficult considering what had come so far. Looks OK, improvement on last season. Ferrari up next.

  14. Radar map currently showing this um.....wall of snow moving north east across Ireland, South West Scotland, much of the North West England and Midlands at its front end. Followed by a wee bit of torrential rain behind it. Warm wet air meets cold air equals death and destruction for everyone in its path. Horrific scenes in Derbyshire earlier. One would assume the traffic cone was never returned to its original place. Here in Inverness today most of yesterday's snow powdering has gone, a liitle bit chilly with some ground frost. More overcast today than yesterday which had the typical beautiful clear blue Highland skies for much of the day. Ben Wyvis always looks marvelous covered in snow, probably looks more impressive closer up. Clach got their game on last night against Forres and probably wished they hadn't after another heavy defeat. That draw against Fraserburgh three weeks ago giving fresh optimism and promise for better times ahead now seems along time ago.
  15. Mirror currently tops for best performance in the Chicken Little catagory. UK facing 10 inches of snow this week, but when you read it this 10 inches is for the high ground in Scotland. This weather bomb which originally was claimed as might -last-for-3-weeks will now only last until Saturday when the snow will turn to rain. Yellow warning for far north of Scotland and the Northern Isles as usual in the shape of a c**k. Amber and yellow warnings in the north of England which stop suddenly at the Scottish border, the soft shites. Quite normal weather and mainstream media behaviour for this time of year.
  16. Wee dusting of snow in Inverness last night, nothing much. Supposed to be this 800 mile wall of snow tonight with -14c temperatures. Here in Inverness it still looks warm enough to put the washing out and walk about in shorts.

  18. We have played Hibs 17 times up here, 10 wins, 3 draws, 4 defeats, all in the league. However in the 4 times we have played Hibs in the Scottish Cup we have never won. Its due.
  19. Could be someone flushed their pet python or crocodile down the toilet when it got to big and its been happily living there for years growing in size on take-aways and street dogs until a storm named by the Norwegians comes along or it could just be the sewers are choc full to the brim with jobbies trying to escape. This was 15 minutes ago, you'll probably already know the answer to that by now and are fighting all of the above with kitchen utensils, maybe all of the above at once.
