Why would they come back? they were constantly complaining about the standard of football in the LL not being suitable for their players and then threw a very large hat into the ring with the Conference and it failed. I'd be very surprised if they darkened that door again. They seem happier playing against European opposition within their age group for just now.

If your club went bust, who would you support instead?

I'd go to random games every now and then but not support a team. -
The first time this has ever happened?

The natural order and karma will eventually end this nonsence. Time is not on the side of the B teams. Other countries FAs will be quaking in their brogues at how determined both clubs are to continue flogging a dead horse and producing future world class players to play in our SPFL lower leagues, LL and levels 6 and 7. It is very kind of them to continue going nowhere and pay for the privilege. At least Rangers true to form walked away realising they were getting nowhere and calculated that their absence would eventually lead to all the club that voted against the Conference will go bust, that will show them.
-
Interesting that both promoted and three of the relegated clubs don't see B teams money as essential in their own development. Notice that this is many of the older clubs that have trust in their loyal support many have been turning up for decades and have more confidence in their own sustainability at this level, where as the former EoS teams the originals from the first season of the LL and the new teams who got in before the pyramid was set might not be sustainable at this level without 'windfalls'. I wonder if both East Kilbride and Cowdenbeath are actually in real trouble for cash, but are keeping hush about it. Eventually the arse will fall out of most of these clubs either financial or the rising standard of club will push them down, already happened to Vale of Leithen now Gretna and Edinburgh Uni, probably Gala F next along with Braves.
-
All this LL constipation dearly needs some laxitive. Probably hurts a lot with this hard shit B team blockage.
-
Its probably going to be the last two years of B teams in the LL anyway as teams promoted and relegated will impact the next vote. No promoted team currently supports B teams in the LL, there will be another one up next season and then another before the next vote comes up. Support for B teams club support will fade as the likes of Gretna and Edinburgh Uni go down, one will follow the other this or next season. Very likely East Kilbride will go up either this season or next so another club supporting the B teams leaving the LL.

I dread the inevitable mess they are going to make of Fallout 5.

I was under the impression that this would be Bethesda returning to the form they had a decade ago, I was mistaken after watching play throughs. I mean why spend around £60 without checking it out first. It really looks dated with graphics and amimations that could come from 2014 and there is nothing engaging or interesting about it and so so many loading screens. Compare to Cyber Punk 2077 and its game mechanics, the quests with added distractions and character back stories, dialogue and interactions, the combat and the open world element, no contest. Starfield has very little depth to it. Even Fallout 4 with all its faults and gliches is far better game as it gets your curiousity to explore and investigate and also other science fiction games like The Outer Worlds and the Mass Effect series are far superior in almost every way. Was it really worth boasting about 1000 planets to visit when 95% of them are empty and have nothing of any interest on them at all. Quantity over quality again. After the initial good reviews the game had after launch (most of these were probably the advertisers themselves multi spaming ) is now down to the level of mixed on Steam, so Bethesda did a good advertising grifting job to hype it up but as usual it left a lot of people were disappointed. I think a lot of people still want Bethesda to do well for some reason despite the the Fallout 76 debacle and its pay to progress, the way they treated loyalty was a disgrace, they lost a lot of customers. People should realise that the are only interested in taking your money than doing anything different or ground breaking anymore even though they claim so, why do people get taken in by their bullshit? Nah I'll give it a miss and wait for Death Stranding 2. I've heard The Planet Crafter is a good game. Awww poor Todd

Places in Scotland you've never been to

The Northern Isles I've been to Stornaway but never not explored the Western Isles including Skye. The corner of Scotland above Ullapool to Thurso, including Durness. Fife east of Kirkcaldy which includes St. Andrews. I've been to Mull and Iona but none of the other Hebrides. I've only walked up Ben Wyvis, no other Munros. Using football grounds as a reference for which towns and villages - Kelty, Pittmedden, Turriff, East Kilbride, Tranent, Blairgowrie, Kirriemuir, Carnoustie, Scone, Halkirk, Bonar Bridge, Maud, I've seen both Ellen and Dyce plenty of times from transport but never set foot on that land. Stonehaven, Longside, Broxburn, Crossgates, Cardenden, Haddington, Passing Luncarty on the A9 doesn't really count, Penicuik, Blackburn, Denny, Crosshill, Newtongrange, Oakley, Prestonpans, St. Andrews, Innerleithen, Whitburn, Rosewell, Armadale, Coldstream, Dalkeith, Easthouses, Ormiston, Peebles, Thornton, Bathgate, Fauldhouse, Harthill, Lochgelly, Stoneyburn, West Calder, West Linton, New Abbey, Creetown, Dalbeattie, Lochmaben, Lockerbie, Newton Stewart, Moffat, Wigtown, Sanquhar, Beith, Clydebank, Cumnock, Darvel, New Cumnock, Hurlford, Troon, Blantyre, Johnstone, Kilwinning, Maybole, Neilston, Renfrew (Town), Rutherglen, Shotts, Viewpark, Ardrossan, Dalmellington, Forth, Kilsyth, Muirkirk, Wishaw, Stevenston, Bellshill, Dalry, Girvan, Kirkconnel, Lanark (Town), Lesmahagow, Port Glasgow, Alexandria, Campbeltown, Giffnock, Lugar, Newmains, Saltcoats, Stonehouse, Banchory, Whitehills, Eyemouth, Duns. Plenty of these places I've passed through or by on public transport by never set foot on, I don't count them. Not too bothered about the town list and the football grounds, more interested in visiting Orkney, Shetland or any of the Western Islands now. Never been to Skye ffs I don't like these tourist ridden places very much. Still plenty of places away from people to visit. -

Does anyone still speak Scottish Juniors, the west dialect? Even in Auchinleck.

Some people enjoy reveling their own stupidity. D'ya ken @LOL @ Celtic D'ya ken @LOL @ Celtic D'ya ken @LOL @ Celtic I've only heard it used regularly around the Aberdeen area and Buchan, the old fishermen would talk like that. Orkney, I've heard a few from there using it, fishing folk. Might be in some auld songs from the area. I would think now words like that would be dying out, especially in the cities and big towns as people mix from different areas and cultures.

The wee lad to the right has the 1000 yard stare and will probably be traumitised for life. The woman above Kennedy literally pulling the skin on her face down to her feet, to trip over later when leaving the stadium. -

The middle aged guy to the right of white hoodie looks like he's having a 'dirty protest'. The obvious absence of a Lidls bag tells me this isn't going to end well for him. -

⚪⚫🕷 Queen's Park v The Caley 🔵🔴🦅
CityDave94 replied to Stephen Malkmus's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
That Wotherspoon goal was brilliant, seemed to turn in slow-motion as well, maybe I'm too used to watching smaller faster players doing this at a higher level. The three QP defenders obviously in awe to do anything about it. I had to laugh when I saw it, a terrible goal to lose by QP and humiliating that they just seemed to give up. If Wotherspoon keeps this up we shouldn't have to worry to much more about relegation, goal machine. Not looking good for Queen's Park if this is their mentality, they are in the shit.
