Unbelievable the quality in both sides back then compared to now. Ayr at the time were not that short of being top flight standard, where as we were improving and improving.

I have no idea why did that other than for tinkering sake. Could have had two correct scores and 7 points to win the day.

Dislike the idea that we are going to have to rely on loanees to get us out of this relegation battle, but needs must. But they have to be better than what we already have. Further on if we stay up the new management team are facing almost a complete rebuild in the summer. Worst season ever.

What an absolute minefield this time of year is. Caught between my own personal choice of diet and my goals to better my health which are working (that was another 2kg off last month) and not confusing and upsetting family that I would rather not eat anything with sugar or carbohydrates and drink any alcohol. It just triggers some people and they just keep picking away so I tend to keep quiet avoid explaining because from I know from previous experience the reaction I'll get. Just want to get today over and done with. Very stressful, I've never looked forward to this this time of year. I've slept an average of 3 hours sleep a night over the last week. I'm awake at 03:30 unable to get back to sleep, so I get up put the laptop on and watch films until around 8am. Good luck to anyone on here for the New Year dinner especially the steadfast and those able to say no and no again and again and again, respect. I'm doing well so far.

I would not mind us winning ugly away to Airdrie this Tuesday. Don't care how we do it, we need to put distance between ourselves and the bottom two. Morton are doing it effectively. I can't argue with the way they were set up yesterday as it worked and with that squad of players available can't say that they are doing anything wrong. We had no answer and added to run of poor results that have stalled us, something needs to be done quickly to change this otherwise its back in the mud again. We have already been beaten by the 'dreadful' Arbroath up here on our own patch, earlier they pumped us out of the League Cup and we have only won one out of the last six meetings with the 'dreadful' Morton. Seems now we are further down the Scottish football foodchain than they are. The new management team have a big task ahead in turning it all around, not underestimating this. And if we end up with anyone, anyone on a free from Edinburgh City this January, I will f***ing lose the plot.

Morton no shots on target yet, just know they are going to score that winner in the 90+5 minute.
