  1. A bit like when we brought nditi back this where we knew he was good for us without actually having seeing him in the flesh. Pleasantly surprised though, him and jordan Allan were about the only positives from watching the highlights that season.
  2. I don't know why but I feel like we might see our best performance of the season tomorrow. Hopefully I'm right.
  3. Been thinking Brechin better get promoted this season, the prospect of a fourth season without an league Angus derby to look forward to is unbearable. It'll be 5 years next month since we've been to glebe park which just doesn't feel right. There's also no Andy Jackson and Alan trouten to worry about turning into prime Raul and Zidane anymore.
  4. It would also finally bring back league Angus derbies, which I like to tell myself everyone outside the county has massively missed being a thing too.
  5. Can't lie the more I watch that it just reminds me how poor officiating is, that looks a pretty simple offside for him to give their? Ruth was nowhere near anyone
  6. If I was you I'd actually be more concerned with facing brechin or buckie than east Kilbride.
  7. Congrats on the league title next season lads
  8. Noticed at the final whistle some of our younger supporters were having a back and forth with one of the adult Spartan supporters on the way out and then when I got to the gate I noticed they were waiting for the guy to come out to have another go. Feel like the young Spartans supporters were maybe getting caught in between an argument but could be wrong.
  9. A couple people are gonna hate hearing anything positive somehow but think it's worth mentioning in the last 6 league games only stenny have had more points, we've won 3 drawn 2 and the 1 loss was against stenny. I'll balance that out by saying that the tactics and games are still fucking dire to watch 90% of the time. Manager has been got out of jail by the defensive unit really standing up and being counted in recent weeks. It's a weird situation we're in now where the managers clearly still got no long term future or likability and the footballs still terrible to watch but we're now grinding out the results and can't justify sacking him until there's a complete collapse.
  10. Well today and last week were brutal to watch and not good enough quality wise but we're 3 league games unbeaten with 2 wins so I'll take it. Think we can start breathing easy on any chances of finishing bottom, Clyde's rebuild doesn't look like it's made too much difference that's 9 points clear of them now.
  11. It's ironic that it was this season that I was going to try and make the effort to go to away games but unless it's some sort of play off or final day decider unfortunately its just not worth the money for me at present.
  12. Such a silly thing to say mykyta was the best player on the pitch against Elgin but now he's terrible because he had one poor game? McLean alright his work rate and concentration seems to fluctuate based on every individual situation but he proved against elgin if you give him service he can still score goals. 2 games in to be criticising those two after one being man of the match and the other getting 2 goals, what exactly are you expecting? I agree on the recruitment but it's the players signed from the bigger clubs that clearly aren't adapting that's the problem.
  13. About as forgettable a match you'll ever see, bonnyrigg were there for the taking and we couldn't string a pass together to hurt them and we were lucky they didn't score on the counter in the end. Robson slightly less anonymous today but still mind boggling how he's always the one being left on, at this point you just want to see him given a break for his own sake.
  14. Don't worry that particular forfar supporter has become notorious for being our forums resident negative keyboard warrior. He may be vocal but he doesn't represent our general fan base at all, he's the sort of person that would try to argue that grass isn't green if it suited his agenda.
  15. On the back of what was a really good couple of weekends on the pitch, it now feels like its back to needing the manager gone at all cost. The idea that the board didn't sack him due to not wanting to shell out the compensation was probably valid but now with a decent amount of money made from the cup game surely a poor run of form and the continued vocal discontent will leave the board with no other option and end what's been a self inflicted negativity spiral around the club for the last year. Manager knows he's not liked and the board know at this point he's not liked. They need to stop the spineless attitude towards the situation. The only person currently at the club who should be getting punted back to the juniors is the manager.
  16. If this Paterson news really is true then it's disgraceful behaviour from ray but let's be honest we've known since the start of the season he's had a bee in his bonnet with patty from minute 1 and the only realistic reason why is because of how off the cuff and amount of freedom he plays with and him not being another premiership academy robot off the conveyer belt. Ray should remind himself of two things 1. Only reason he got his moment in front of the camera against Hibs was because to begin with we would never have got past Huntly if patty hadn't came on and changed the game 2. Even he would of had to be sacked if it wasn't for pattys part in our first win at Stranraer where he almost single handily won us the game. Paterson has contributed more in a handful of big moments this season coming from the juniors than almost all of the mediocrity who have come from big clubs and professional backgrounds have combined in the same season.
  17. Well then.... that was absolutely fucking class from the first minute to the last, the work rate and attitude from every player in sky blue and navy was impeccable for the full 90+minutes, Only thing missing was a touch of composure in the box and we would of have been celebrating a famous win. Days like today reaffirm my love and passion for the club since my grandad first took me to station park 16 years ago.
  18. You can argue they'll never be a better time to play Hibs than today with the players they have missing.
  19. Call me sentimental but I'd be happy if Whyte stuck around for years to come, he might never get back to how he was before the injuries but if you could guarantee that he starts even just 10 games a season then what he offers in terms of professionalism and versatility more than makes that worth it. If he'd have been completely injury free he should of went on to be playing every week as club captain.
