  1. They explained at the meeting that once planning permission is approved the club will sell the shares in the relevant company. So the club doesn’t directly own the land, but it owns at least some shares in the company that owns the land.
  2. Sadly I don’t have an Inverness postcode, but as part of the Caley diaspora I would encourage any of you who can to email your councillors. The answers set out in the club statement seem perfectly reasonable to me, it would be ridiculous for the council to block a business opportunity and a bonus for the club for the sake of a few NIMBYs.
  3. So it’s a one-off payment, but no regular income going forwards? In which case, we still need to take other steps to become financially sustainable (like getting rid of Gardiner), otherwise we’re just kicking the can £3m further down the road.
  4. Three quarters of the way through the season, left to play every team once more. Season so far: First quarter - 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws) Second quarter - 10 points (2 wins, 4 draws) Third quarter - 12 points (3 wins, 3 draws) Looking at it that way, there’s a general trend of (very minor) improvement even since we got rid of Dodds. If we can keep that going, and get more than 12 points from the last 9 games, then it feels to me like we should just about survive this season.
  5. Morton fans rattled and at each other’s throats at the prospect of their first loss in 16. I promise you boys it could be much, much worse!
  6. Second half tonight was the first time I’ve really thought we’re going down. Like, proper sick in my stomach dread. Arbroath showed talent and determination that we simply do not have. Hard to see how we’ll stay above them.
  7. Four goals and a missed penalty in his first two games, then nothing.
  8. With Airdrie, Queens and Ayr all winning, this is a really bad result. Three really frustrating draws in a row, and it’s very hard to see wins coming.
  9. That miss from Jakubiak is as good as a missed penalty - call it 1-1 at half time
  10. Absolutely rotten injury list in Dunc’s pre-match interview. - Gilmour, “doesn’t look good” - Ujdur, another couple of weeks - Mullen, back to Leeds, out for season - MacGregor, another two or three weeks - Boyes, could be another couple of weeks - Longstaff, another couple of months - Brooks, not sure but don’t think available - Samuel, unsure but hopefully available Add to that Anderson’s suspension.
  11. I wonder if Dunc’s looking for some experience on the pitch towards the end of the game? Rather than bringing on the likes of Pepple and then shitting the bed as we’ve tended to do recently…
  12. Highlights give more reason to be hopeful than I had thought reading comments on here. Looks like we moved the ball about well and had lots of possession in and around QP box. Don’t think we’ll often play like that and score nothing.
  13. Aribusitamunoipirim, you’ll never sing that. Also, Emmanuel born at Christmas - truly, truly, God with us.
  14. I think he’d do well in either, and obviously I’d like to keep him. I was just responding to the naysayers.
  15. I think Carson is exactly the kind of player you’d want in a relegation scrap. In some of the dark days with Billy Dodds he would be the only Caley player putting a shift in.
