I was answering and correcting the previous post I quoted that stated, The odd Olympic games was not the closest Scotland has come to hosting an International football tournament. That my only point. -

In 1989 Scotland hosted the U16 World Cup, and made it all the way to the final where they lost to Saudi Arabia at a sold out Hampden. The only ones in the crowd, which included me, that believed the ages on the passports of the Saudi time were the FIFA reps with brown envelopes in their pockets, Would say that more of hosting a tournament as all games were played in Scotland to amazing crowds. 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship - Wikipedia Few well known names were i the team in the final lost on penalties, -

They would have eaten her, saved a big funeral coffin.

She obviously had friends/family if she was wrapping presents. So only people who knew her were cursing her as she never sent cards or presents any more, and no-one visited. I give you modern society.

The Ajax project, another Army black hole of £5.5B was supposed to be ready 2017, won't be ready till 2028/29 at earliest, British army’s new Ajax fighting vehicle will not be ready until end of decade | British army | The Guardian A troubled £5.5bn programme that is already six years late in building the British army’s new Ajax fighting vehicle will not be delivered until the end of the decade. Labour accused the government of failing British taxpayers and troops after the Ministry of Defence confirmed that payments towards vehicles would resume after ministers concluded the programme was “turning a corner”. Originally intended to enter service in 2017, the programme has been repeatedly delayed, with problems including noise and vibration issues that have injured soldiers testing the vehicles. After halting payments to General Dynamics Land Systems UK (GDLS-UK) more than two years ago, the MoD said on Monday it would hand over £480m this month to the arms company. It said full operating capability was expected between October 2028 and September 2029, when the army has trained and converted forces to the vehicle. Always money for the army. -

Tory MP Mark Menzies suspended over alleged misuse of campaign funds - BBC News Putting aside the Brazilian rent boy from a decade ago (to continue the Yes Minister vibe would have been a 'shady lady from Argentina'). Dealing with the fact the Tory Party have known about this 'bad people' incident since January, and his local party paying to clean up his mess, as he couldn't afford to pay the £5K himself, rising to £6.5K by the time it was paid in the morning by him tapping up up some tory pensioners in the middle of the night. By this BBC article he has had £14K out of them over the last 4 years for 'medical expenses'. Must have some very expensive habits or hobbies that he cannot afford on an MPs salary. -
if it makes a click noise, you have the settings wrong, probably that annoying git on the train that every touch of their phone sounds a click as they feverously type crap messages to their crap friends. Annoying in or out of work.
