  1. .......and when I got home it was quite late and my mum had kept my dinner in the oven but it was all kind of dried out, she said it was a lovely dinner when they ate it, but mines was all hard and dried out. Then when I went to my bed, my mum had washed my bedsheets but had forgotten to put new ones one, fair play to her, but she was all tucked into her bed but I had to put on a new set of bedding onto my bed before I could go to bed and I was all tired and that” Daily Record (Monday 27th January 2020)
  2. Very, Very, VERY pleasing. Finally done it. Marko Kerrdiola, take a bow!! Some interesting results this week.
  3. Underdogs again but winnable. At least we haven't played them for a wee while!
  4. I agree, especially from the point of view of retirement through injury. Make it happen! The Jamie Adam's benefit match Killie?
  5. Minimal contact The guy is a legend, one of my favourite players to pull on an Ayr top. He played like one of us have, if we were plucked from the terraces.
  6. We can all want as much as we like, Kerr also, but the player at the other end must want to come to Ayr. We are the small fish in the big full time pond remember.
  7. There's only one Jamie Adams. I officially start the Jamie Adams North Terrace campaign. What a boy!!!
  8. 3 scenarios as I see it: 1. Kerr will amass 4-6 points between now and mid February, with us falling out of the top 4 and being overtaken by Partick. 2. Attendance will plunge at Somerset and fan power / dressing room will see Kerr out the door by the Partick game on 31st jan. Geggan and Moff taking the team till a new gaffer is put in place. 3. Kerr will get money to play with in january window, bring in 4 players, let 2 go and all is good in life as we finish in top 4.
  9. I think it will finish 3-2 Ayr. 3-0 up at half time. Nervy second half.
  10. As a fan. Player retires from your club after playing their whole career there - Club Legend Player plays for at least 2 seasons thrn moves onto a bigger and better team and league - Club Great Player moves onto a bigger and better team in same league - Club Servant Player agrees move half way through season to a team managed by a previous manager who jumped ship into the season, and is club captain - ?
  11. Surely Doc has made that decision for all of us. He has decided that, after everything, he wants to move to Partick. If money is his motivation, then the sooner he goes, the better for him.
  12. It's difficult when you are the small fish in the big pond. Is there a full time team with a smaller budget?
  13. You can have Doc now, just through us a few coins, not many, just a few and he is yours come January
  14. Pre-contracts should not be allowed to teams in the same league - they are a nonsense in that respect. It's the 18th of December and this gets out!!
  15. The club should keep classy about all of this and let Thistle look like the jakeys that they are. Tell Thistle to cough up - pay for the rest of his wages for the remainder of the season - and get him out. After all, Doc has a 2 year contract to protect now, wants his new employers to be in as high a league as possible and we need 100% commitment. Sorry, but I think Smith should have been away as well last season, just my opinion.
