  1. Awrite guys? Looking for your opinion on Sean Kelly, who we've just signed. Says he's a left sided defender but has he ever played on the right?
  2. I agree, sort of. There are a lot of questions that need answering, the biggest for me being why there are so many injuries and players not up to full fitness? Something's not right there. Whilst we were really shite for about 80% of the match yesterday, we were in control of it and I have no doubt that we would have won if not for Robbie's stupidity,* so I think you're right in saying that there's a lot of reactionary stuff going on here; I'm sure there would have been grumbles about us not blowing Forfar away but there wouldn't have been as much negativity. We'll get a chance next week to see if PJ's up to it although I would move Miller back in place of Durnan and play Alston an Gomis in the middle. That would mean Todd, Leitch or maybe even Laverty or Deveney on the left, but a gamble worth taking I think. * I've got to say that I have some sympathy for Mutch (not very much) as, at the time, I thought he had properly belted the guy, but it was no more than a push on the neck. The foot in the face by the attacker was worse but not picked up by the officials and I don't think it even entered Robbie's head that there would be any retribution. Doesn't excuse it though.
  3. Gomis has an attacking edge to his game too, he just doesn't use it effectively or often enough. Leitch may well have been a better option today as he wouldn't have been tracking back to try to get involved all the time. He strikes me as someone that will show us some good stuff very occasionally but would be generally ineffective though.
  4. Never mind, at least we can all go to the pub to get...........awe f**k!
  5. I thought Dowds and Francis were both really poor today. Morrison as well, although we know he can do better.
  6. Yea, as I say, I don't think he's fully fit.
  7. It didn't work last season for the same reason that it didn't work today. Having said that, due to injuries, the only other option they had would have been to start Leitch in place of Gomis and I don't think that would have worked either.
  8. Gomis and Miller would work fine if Gomis stayed forward. Today though when one was on the ball the other was moving backward to fill the hole rather than sticking to their positions. I don't think we'll see them play together once Alston's up to speed and Connolly's back.
  9. I agree with Joe, I thought Hall was our MOM today. A clear 5/10 for me. Mutch of course isn't normally shaky, although he may now have lost his place to Morrison.
  10. Well, he certainly was today, however, luckily we know he's far from shite normally. I don't think he's anywhere near fit, much like some others. I just hope we're not repeating that a month or so from now.
  11. I can forgive him that, everyone's been pish, but I can't forgive what he did. Stupid b*****d!
  12. Not one of them have put in anywhere near enough of a shift. Even the usually reliable Gomis has been below par. I think we would have won it though, but for Mutch. I think we'll lose it now. Thistle and Cove both winning as well.
  13. Robbie Mutch can just get so far to f**k!!
  14. Think they've made the wrong choice there. Against Forfar at home (no disrespect) they should have played Miller at the back, Gomis defensive mid and Alston behind the strikers. I feel he's wasted out wide.
  15. I think that's the young Goalie Connelly and not Aidan, who's spelt with an O. Wonder if they've made a mistake and it's PJ Morrison that's on the bench?
  16. f**k's sake, you lot are pish at taking bait!! Anyway, I contacted one of the Stoke fans boards a few days ago to ask about their opinion of Rawlins - this is the only meaningful reply that I got. Comes across as a decent bloke and appears to love and understand football. I would imagine he has genuine intentions of doing the best for any club he wishes to invest in. He was a Stoke fan and his investment in Stoke City did help us out at a time when money was tight. I think he buggered off to the USA because his American girlfriend felt homesick and didn't feel like she fitted in to such a glamourous, stylish and sophisticated area as Stoke on Trent.
  17. Strikers tend to be either guys that you hope can score or those you expect to score. To me, and with no evidence really to back it up, I feel Keena is one of the latter.
  18. So, what do we actually know about this guy Rawlins...
  19. Aye, it was a combination of Dowds losing his man and Francis waiting for the ball to meet his head. Can't blame Hall & Durnan for that one.
  20. I agree, when giving interviews he needs to speak prop.
