I think part of his problem is trying too hard when he comes on. Wants to prove too much that he's a good player, rather than lifting his head and getting his teammates involved.

I'd actually like to see Lawal coming back into the fold. I've no idea what the problem is with him (although I wouldn't be surprised if it's something to do with him not following instructions) but I think he offers something different and would be a good option to bring on when trying to protect Miller, Morrison, Nesbitt etc. I really don't think Alfie could have any complaints, given his recent form, if Lawal was preferred to him.

Given his contract doesn't expire until May '25, I wouldn't think that even Hamilton would be daft enough to think they could afford him! You never know right enough.

I noticed at the QoS game that the main stand was a lot busier than usual. If we keep this run going and still have a good chance of winning the league, I think the walk ups will increase as the weather gets better. Edited to say that, if the council could move those temp fences to the back of the pavements rather than the front, that would help a lot! I suppose there must be a good reason for it though?? Nah, it's just the cooncil!

Strictly speaking it was a penalty, although I'd have been unhappy if it was given against us. Sevco (Ranjurs) on the other hand get dodgy pens every other game is seems. I read recently that Tavernier had taken 75 penalties in the 8 seasons he's been with them. Given he can't have taken them all over that period, I'm thinking they must have had 90-100 penalties in that time. I very much doubt that Falkirk and Alloa's combined total will have been as much!

It was in the box. Ball's in the box, Donaldson and the defender are on the line (which is part of the box). The defender was daft, Donaldson was smart, he's felt the pull and was cute enough to go down. Given the penalties we've been denied over the past few seasons, I'll take it!

Don't agree. The defender pulled Donaldson's shirt, for some inexplicable reason (which is a foul) and it was in the box, so it's a penalty. Ref had a good view of it too.

Agree with this. Hopefully it proves to be a blessing in disguise because, if he was to try similar against a Kelty or Montrose for example, we could easily have lost all three points. The pre match interview didn't hint at so many changes so we need to hear how he's going to justify this. Hopefully he's learned his lesson and won't do it again.

Certainty we'll get an injury now then.
