  1. Moshni is suspended anyway Shiels not really on international duty but waiting for his phone in case Northern Ireland's other 6 strikers get injured. Basically Ally can't trust the team to compete with Cowdenbeath without Marius Žaliūkas .....who also may now not play any part as he's 'injured' So the possibility of a postponed game where no players are actually on international duty at all.
  2. Best price 1/3 for No Clearly there has been a massive amount of bets on Yes. At that price surely the bloke down south with now £800,000 on No if he exists will be firing in another £200,000 to move it back in.
  3. Ta ...I always tend to have a look through the videos as the national winners and nominations are all about in and then keep tags on blogs to check how early live rehearsals are received to see if I need to change tact and cover my initial pick. Was well out last year and 2010 when I was completely thrown that Germany might win, but other than that it's my big betting event of the year since being on at 20's on Serbia in 2007....bookies can't keep a Eurovision expert so stuff up a lot. To be fair Russia, Norway and Sweden were all fairly obvious at quite restrictive odds.
  4. Well they did after the 2nd Semi Final on Thursday night but before that they had the dreadful Armenia at odds on. Netherlands were still available at 200/1 + and Austria at 40-80. I was tempted to add to my initial stake from the end of March on Austria when the odds went higher than the 40 I took. Enjoyed that but was crapping myself a few times that the Eastern block countries were actively trying to boost Netherlands over the controversial Conchita.
  5. All of them...... The Rangers, Texas Rangers, New York Rangers, Queens Park Rangers ?
  6. New depths when it comes out that the Dancing 80 year old actually won Spain's Got Talent a few years ago. Surprising at the time but looking at it now scripted to the second with Cowell's yawns and his buzz right before the act kicked off into another gear. I can believe Holden is thick enough that her excitement was real enough but Cowell clearly was in on setting that sham up. Reminded me of the recent viral Frozen singing parents many people put on my facebook https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gavEC5aWAzM which although hundreds of thousands of people (millions maybe) passed off a soo cute and real turned out to be, if you checked it out, by a journalist and professionally filmed with the car actually static on a low loader. People are so keen to see something they think is amazing and too thick and too lazy to check if they're being had (myself in included alot of the time) Makes you wonder what chance you have when people are so easy to manipulate. If you can control the media in this age you control pretty much what you want.
  7. We don't seem to have done the Stephen Hendry and 26 year old Noddy Actress. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2603574/Snooker-legend-Stephen-Hendry-walks-wife-19-years-children-26-year-old-actress.html Very suprised at the lack of research from our national papers beacuse if they had done their research, recalling his wife Mandy's maiden name, they would have the gift of a headline about swapping one Tart for another.
  8. Ahh right....agree with your non playing staff costs comments....the majority of SPL clubs are paying their players at least 60-70% of their revenue and some of them are far from debt free and yet they aren't talking about potential not being a going concern and yet The Rangers are paying their players 30-40% odds and still there doesn't seem to be enough money to cover the amounts of money those in charge want to pay themselves for making dam all difefrence....maybe those club ties are really expensive.
  9. So it's cost more to run over last 6 months than it did the previous 7 £3.5m loss doesn't include any tax due or any of these multitude of one off payment and legal costs just regular running cost added to £7.2m for the seven month period.......................................... that's about £10million loss on a 12 month period? Cash reserves of £3.5m, down from £21.2m the previous year.............that's £17.7 million What did they spend the other near £8 million on ? They really are tonking through startling amounts of money for 2 seasons in the lower leagues. £20 odd million in 6 months for stock market launch payoffs and getting your own stuff back to then remortage? Winning stuff with a team that the club simply can't afford...again But having admitted running at a rate that could not be sustained by the revenue being generated by the Club lets celebrate it anyway. What's going on at Ibrox is absolutely mind numbing !
  10. Dont doubt it for a minute. Really? Would be shocking behaviour indeed to mislead fans...it would be like misleading investors while all the time you were selling millions of pounds worth of your own shares at an artificially high price....criminal indeed...unless you had so many other things over your head that the authorities thought ohh what's the point let's concentrate on the big stuff. Where to start?
  11. Hmm he likes that word...told thousands of South Africans what a good "investment" they were making in the company that he was secretly selling millions of pounds worth of shares in....then known as immoral practise, now classed as fraud.
  12. The man, described as tanned with dark hair At last a break through ..they've as good as got him now...how many tanned dark haired men can there be in Portugal.
  13. No he's just David Van Zanten He wasn't liquidated and had to start his career again as a new player so he doesn't have to put "The" in front of his name.
  14. My first thought having bought 8 cans of Irn Bru for £2 Saturday morning. http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml?cmpid=ahc-_-ghs-d1-_-asdacom-dsk-_-hp#/product/910000519671 Kind of fits with the whole wages, overnight 5* hotel stays and wifi no idea of value 'cause we're a big team stuff though. "I support The Rangers and I need a popcorn in keeping with the size of my club please...here is all my money."
  15. These quotes on Yeung seem strangely familiar, I'm sure I've heard similar recently about someone else.
  16. How much of this £1.5 million cash infusion will be made available to McCoist as a warchest?
  17. Is it just me or does that look like a giant chequebook......make it out to "CASH" kids.
  18. Transfer deadline day Foxy Knoxy Would be a good day to sneak out a wee update/announcement
  19. The Silent Talker Psychological Profiler at Manchester Met University featured on ITV last night would have loved that one although an obvious "No" with a nod wouldn't really have needed their technology. Gist of the above was that when people have to focus hard on keeping a story straight the body struggles more with natural physical movement and so discrepancies arise in what's been said and the matching physical signs. Really interesting program.....Be interesting to know what their equipment made of the huge volume of Knox footage available...bet they've fed it in and have an opinion.
  20. Never doubted she was guilty....the whole appeal process was misled by some clown of an 'expert' having absolutely no clue on how statistics work and presenting wrong data as fact to the jury who, without that kind of knowledge themselves, had to respect his crappy view. Get her sent back for justice...but of course U S A ...U S A ...one of ours she couldn't possibly won't allow it.
  21. Can I pick 2 favourites That's Arsenal "never out of the Champions League last 16 for 10 years, 5x Quarter finalists leading to 2 semi finals and once to the Final. Arsenal, £200 million in profit over the last decade and who just bought a player for £42.5 million Yes I believe they are. and Welcome to our diddy world and the world of the teams in League 1 at the moment
  22. Spot on...although I still think you'd find enough for the Championship. Ticket income won't alter drastically unless they play a very dangerous game on pricing and not overstepping the loyalty point where sales go down. Don't see a lot of change to their usual commercial income from being in lower division, nothing seems to have changed scale wise and TV money...it's not a lot...certainly not enough to bolster a £1mllion monthly loss. It's a club/company in need of really drastic cuts but whether they'll see the reality this time remains to be seen. I can't see it and the manager isn't showing much sign of it.
  23. Opponent hit a real sweet period for 20 minutes but good peice of finishing to breaking back at 5-1 to then not lose a single point through the next 5 games.
  24. The cameraman on last night's 7-39 who didn't give us a clear shot of Sheridan Smith's cracking bod.
